12 minute walk from King’s Cross station although it felt like a lifetime in this heatwave. Hotel doesn’t have air conditioning but they did provide a fan. Breakfast was ok, but no fried eggs but a ton of scrambled instead. Sausages weren’t the best and stay away from the orange juice, very weak. Apple juice was good though.

Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra – wybrałem to miejsce, ponieważ znajduje się blisko Palace Theatre, gdzie grana jest sztuka „Harry Potter i Przeklęte Dziecko”.

We stayed at The Standard for a few nights during a family trip to London and had a great stay. The location was ideal for us, both for spending time with friends and family and for catching the Eurostar after checkout.
We booked a double room, which worked surprisingly well for our family of four. By London standards, it was a good size and felt comfortable rather than cramped. The hotel is directly opposite King's Cross, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city.
The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and everyone made us feel very comfortable travelling with children. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and somewhere we'd happily consider again on future trips to London.

Didn’t know what to expect at first but was pleasantly surprised with our hotel. Great location, very nice & accommodating staff & a comfortable & relaxing stay. Got a message from the hotel on my phone every now & then to check in on us, inform us of updates & basically reminding us that they’re at our disposal should we need anything. Impressive. The snacks were a nice surprise too. Wish we had time to do afternoon tea or a nightcap at the hotel; perhaps on the next trip.
