Rzeczy do zrobienia w: Swan River

A must to go place when you visit Perth - Rottnest Island! Visiting Rottnest Island was one of my favourite experiences during my trip to Perth. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the stunning scenery. The crystal-clear blue water, beautiful beaches, and peaceful surroundings made me feel completely relaxed. The highlight of my visit was definitely meeting the famous quokkas. They were even cuter than I expected! Seeing them hopping around freely and getting the chance to take photos with these adorable little creatures was such a special moment. It was impossible not to smile whenever I saw them. Rottnest Island is more than just a tourist attraction—it’s a place where you can slow down, appreciate nature, and create wonderful memories. I left with so many beautiful photos, but more importantly, with memories that I’ll always treasure. If I ever return to Perth, Rottnest Island will definitely be at the top of my list to visit again.

Tim odebrał nas z Barrack Square Jetty Pier No 4 – co było jasno zakomunikowane i dość punktualne. Furgonetka była wygodna. Zapewnił nam również wodę butelkowaną. Bardzo podobał mi się fakt, że Tim wcześniej pracował w Caversham Wildlife Park, dzięki czemu cała wycieczka była punktualna i dobrze przygotowana (wskazówka: torba z granulkami do karmienia kangurów i innych zwierząt). Obiad zjedliśmy w Mandoon Estate, gdzie wybraliśmy dania wegetariańskie. Jedzenie zostało podane szybko, było gorące i pyszne. Następnie kontynuowaliśmy naszą podróż do Margaret River Chocolate Company – Tim podarował nam darmowe czekoladki do degustacji, kupiliśmy też kilka na pamiątkę. Później odwiedziliśmy Scarborough Beach, która była niesamowita, ponieważ pogoda również była bardzo dobra. Na koniec naszej wycieczki udaliśmy się do Kings Park, pospacerowaliśmy i zrobiliśmy kilka pamiątkowych zdjęć. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, tego rodzaju wycieczka grupowa jest zazwyczaj nieco pośpieszna, ale spełniła nasze cele na ten dzień.

We met at the meeting point in the morning, boarded the bus, and departed. Upon arriving at the Crown Hotel, we transferred to another bus, and the entire itinerary proceeded on schedule. The bus driver also served as our guide, providing thorough explanations. Although the tour itinerary stated drop-off at Barrack Street Jetty, the driver checked with everyone to find out where was closest to their accommodation and dropped them off there.

Perth–Fremantle One-Way Cruise — 14 August 2026 We had a wonderful experience on the Perth–Fremantle one-way cruise on 14 August. Our group of four really enjoyed the relaxing journey, especially with the beautiful weather and stunning views along the Swan River. The cruise provided a lovely opportunity to sit back, enjoy the scenery and take plenty of photos while travelling between Perth and Fremantle. Everything was comfortable and well organised, and the journey felt like an experience in itself rather than simply a way of getting from one place to another. The pleasant weather made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families, friends and anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic way to experience Perth and Fremantle.

Swan Valley is such a beautiful place to slow down, enjoy the vineyard views, taste some good wine, and simply enjoy the moment.

Chociaż jednego dnia odwiedziliśmy wiele miejsc i rozumiem, że każdy ma inne preferencje, więc nie zawsze można zostać dłużej w ulubionym miejscu, to jednak jestem zadowolony z większości wycieczki. Transfery hotelowe były bardzo wygodne, lunch smaczny, a lokalizacja świetna. Tego dnia trafiliśmy na burzę, która zdarza się raz na pięć lat w południowo-zachodniej Australii, a na autostradzie czuliśmy, jak samochód się chwieje. Na szczęście nasza przewodniczka, Cindy, była bardzo doświadczona i bezpiecznie ukończyliśmy całą trasę!

I took a cruise, chatted with people, drank some wine, and then went to a winery where I listened intently to explanations and drank a lot of wine. It would be great for wine lovers, and I really enjoyed having plenty of time.

The tour started at Pier 3 at Barrack Square, where the pickup for the cruise was punctual and well organised. The cruise itself was a lovely way to begin the day, with interesting commentary along the way. We were welcomed with a delicious glass of champagne, followed by three glasses of wine, as well as onboard lunch. We arrived at Mandoon Jetty at around 12.45pm, where we joined the bus tour for the afternoon. Our first stop was Windy Creek Estate, and wow, there were a lot of wines to taste! I counted easily around 15 different glasses of wine if you were game enough to try every single one. Next was Garbin Estate Wines, where, haha, there were another 10 or so wines available for tasting. After all that wine, we headed to Swan Valley Brewery for some beer and chips, which was a nice change of pace. Our final stop was the nearby Whistler's Chocolate Company & Cafe. We got back on the bus and returned to the city at around 5pm.
