The hotel was cozy, but vintage and fancy. However, they had placed so many excessively old items that it was scary, making me feel like a ghost might appear. The location was good, with many restaurants, bars, and convenience stores nearby. The staff were also friendly.

Too pricy for what you get. Comparing to five star name brand hotels in the heart district 1
So if you must stay in the Thao Dien area then sure as there are no other choice.

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed in this hotel, as it’s convenient for visiting family who live nearby. It really is an oasis of peace after a day in Saigon’s busy streets. The staff are lovely and the pool’s great. Will definitely come back.

It has a big gym, a wet kitchen in each unit. After I checked in at 3 on found out the aisle was so dark, the lights in the isle, only lit up at 4 pm each afternoon. They should have using the motion sensor lights because it was difficult to see even the room number.

It felt like walking into a museum or art gallery and the rooms were beautiful.

I love the rooms, the gym, the peaceful nature of the hotel and the restaurant NUC where breakfast is served. It is such a lovely place. I come often for work. I think I’ve stayed here more than 20 times. I highly recommend Amanaki.

A very different stay in Ho Chi Minh than the big chains in district 1. Nice and relaxed, great food and great location.
