Staff wasn’t present 24/7, but on call if needed. Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location.

Property perfectly captured the charm of a scottosh hotel

We stayed in apartment that was secluded and yet very accessible to reception etc. spaciousness made it nice on last night as we could pack and repack. Convenient to shops and restaurants.

Totally uncontactable. Their number doesn’t work, the other number found on their fb doesn’t go through, they don’t respond on emails, hotels.com, fb, or messenger. Tried for several days with nothing and still no response now 2 weeks later. Walked past when we stayed (had to book somewhere else and double pay) and it looked extremely run down with some lights on upstairs but no lights or people to be seen downstairs.

Unprofessional communication. I could not contact them ( and Expedia could not contact them) . The telephone numbers were not current on the contact info on Expedia site or website. Our plane delayed and we got to hotel and contact numbers were listed on front door and no one on site. Poor charm factor with plastic ivy on fence.

The check in times were listed on one 10 and then a different place 10:30. Our plane delayed so we were late. We got to hotel and contact numbers were listed on front door and it was just ten. No one on site but staff drove over and said they were just about to drive out of town. Not charming and had plastic fake ivy along fence . Plastic ivy in Scotland ?

Fantastic. It was a little strange to learn that the front desk was mainly unattended, but that didn't end up being an issue at all. Wonderful, comfortable room. Quiet, except for that moment at around 2am when the entire country cheered Scotland's goal in the World Cup. The only thing that was mildly inconvenient was the parking situation. There is a parking lot behind the building, but it wasn't cheap. Parking at the bus station down the road was much more affordable, but a bit of a walk with luggage, etc.

Room cleaned every day,fresh towels,coffee replaced. any enquiries were quickly dealt with. I would recommend a stay there. Chis whelan

This hotel was weird because we never saw anyone like a front desk clerk. I'm not even sure they have a front desk. We arrived around 8:30 PM and the entire hotel was locked/chained in the front, which was incredibly disconcerting. We finally realized there was a note on a side door with a phone number for after-hours help. Called it -- no answer. YIKES! Called again and someone said they'd come give us a key. So she gave us a key and left us to find our way upstairs to our room, which wasn't intuitive. There was a lift that didn't work. We never saw anyone after that during our two night stay. We used a code to go in the side door. The room itself was fine, although the bathroom was quite small. Overall it was just a really odd experience.

If all you want is a bed for the night then this place is fine. The room was clean. There is no bar or restaurant. You have to go out and find your own breakfast. Do not bother ringing the 'out of hours' number, your call / message will not be answered.
