When you stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang in George Town, you'll be on the beach, within a 15 minute walk of Ferringgi Beach and Batu Feringghi Night Market. This 5-star resort is 3.6 km from Teluk Bahang Beach and 2.2 km from Tropical Spice Garden. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance our guest experience, Hard Rock Hotel Penang will be undertaking Phase 1 of our scheduled renovation works for selected rooms and the Rock Royalty Lounge from 1 March 2026 until November 2026. During this period, the hotel will continue to operate as usual with the remaining rooms available for booking. Alternative arrangements will be provided in lieu of the club lounge benefits. Hotel facilities including restaurants, swimming pool and gym will remain fully operational. Please note that noise disruption will be limited to 10am until 6pm daily.

A security deposit of RM200 per room per night for incidentals is collected at check-in and refunded after check-out if no charges apply. Release of funds for debit/credit card holds may take several business days depending on the issuing bank.

Renovation : Please be advised that our Rock Royalty Lounge will be temporarily closed during the rooms renovation period(March-November 2026). During the club lounge closure, credit vouchers worth RM100 nett per room per night redeemable at any F&B outlet or Rock Spa will be provided in lieu of the club lounge benefits. Hotel credits must be utilised within the stay period, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, and unused balances will not be refunded. This benefit is not applicable to Room Only rate plans.
