A few areas of room could have been better

Great

It would be hand if you had a luggage scale to check the weight of luggage before we leave for the airport.

It was not made clear to us before we got to property that no breakfast and pool use were not included when it was advertised that they were part of the amenities.

Stay away! This has to be the worst hotel in Iceland. I stayed here a few years and remember it fondly, this week has been a joke: nothing works, the staff are oblivious, the rooms are old and the breakfast buffet is terrible. Let’s start from the top: 1) the rooms vary, you should insist on the ‘updated’ room otherwise you’re basically staying in a hostel 2) the faucet turns itself off. The shower can’t be fully turned off so it leaks all night. The TV doesn’t work - the channels buffer and at super glitchy. The curtains can’t be fully closet so during 24daylight, it’s hard to black out the room. There is no AC so the room gets super hot when it’s sunny. 3) the staff are so used to people complaining that they just don’t care anymore. They pretend the best they can, but there is nothing they can do. reception told me “this hotel is very old so many things don’t work” 4) the breakfast buffet!!! OMG. They Americanized it and it’s now terrible eggs, bacon and other slop. The best part is the bread: that’s still fresh and Icelandic. Even the yogurt is warm. I’ve stayed in many places and in many countries: this place is a terrible disappointment

Overall we had a nice stay here. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. The room could use a little love as there are marks on the wall and is a bit dated . The spa and free parking are an added bonus as well as the convenient location.

Nice location , at domestic airport not to busy good breakfast

Great place near the domestic hotel

Fresh and well appointed lobby, rooms are clean and comfortable for 2 people plus luggage. Satt Restaurant was stellar, fabulous buffet; food feels more ala carte than buffet. Staff were helpful and happily arranged airport transport for us.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay for vacation.
