Our experience at Hotel Tugu was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a living work of art — romantic, soulful, historic, and deeply Balinese. Every corner of the hotel is filled with beauty and intention, from the antiques and cultural details to the lush gardens, peaceful courtyards, and stunning oceanfront atmosphere. The service was exceptional. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and celebrated throughout our stay. Everything felt personal, warm, and effortless. The food was delicious, the breakfasts were beautiful, and the entire experience had such a rare sense of charm and authenticity. Hotel Tugu was the perfect beginning to our Bali journey. It felt luxurious without being sterile, elegant without losing its soul, and deeply romantic in a way we will never forget. Waking up near the beach, enjoying the beauty of the property, and feeling so immersed in Balinese culture made our stay truly special. We cannot recommend Hotel Tugu enough. It is not just a hotel — it is an experience, a love letter to Bali, and one of the most memorable places we have ever stayed. Five stars in every possible way.

Overall our stay was great! They staff pays attention to details and was very attentive. They could not be any friendlier. The food and view from the rooftop area was great! The hotel was also very close to the beach and shops which was very nice! Our only issues was the noise from the nearby venues that played music until 11pm. You could hear this from the room still. The rooms could be updated a bit. Never was able to fill the tub up as it took forever. And the floor seemed like it could be cleaned a bit more. But otherwise everything else seemed to be on par for our stay.

Such a magical experience! Hotel Tugu it feels like you're literally walking into a Balinese museum. It is conveniently located downtown canggu and across from the beach yet you still feel secluded and have your privacy.

Good breakfast, comfortable bed.

Beautiful property. Modern conveniences in a classic Bali setting. We had a room with private pool and the room was huge. King bed, indoor/outdoor bath surrounded by water and fish. Mini bar(pay for most items). Breakfast was plentiful it had ala cart and buffet items. Afternoon tea with snacks. Staff was incredible and provided anything you needed. Walkable to the beach and bars and restaurants nearby. Wife loved the Japanese restaurant where we watched the sunset on the roof. Would recommend.

We love our stay here!

Everyone that works there treats you like family. They go above and beyond to assist and meet the needs of the guests. They also accommodate clients requests like I wanted a private dinner with a dance and it was honored, Balinese outfit was also provided for. The team is respectful, helpful, accommodating, courteous and compassionate…. I will be coming back
