The accomodation and location were nice but the attitude and service of the manager on the Friday (3 July 2026) was really poor. My 1 star reflects the very poor behaviour of the manager. We arrived just before 11pm and asked if one of the TVs could be turned on to allow us to watch thd Argentina v Cape Verde game, he refused to turn the tv on. I told him we were guests who were staying at the premises. He just said and was adamant that he wasnt turning any the tvs on.
Hardly surprising that the pub wasnt busy with a manager who refuses to turn a tv on, to watch a world cup game. I wouldnt employ a manager who turns down custom.

When we walked into the room, I was really pleased to see that it was just as you see in the photographs. It was clean, spacious and the bathroom was really nice too. It was well decorated and had plenty of storage for our clothes, as well as an iron, hairdryer and coffee machine.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was cleaned while we were out for the day. So we came back to a fresh room.
The room had air con, and a good fan to keep us cool, which was helpful in the hot weather.
We were a little worried that the room may be noisy with the pub below. But, it was a beautiful pub, the clientele were very respectful and you wouldn’t even know it was there. It was a lovely space for a drink, or coffee and was a generally lovely place to stay.
I would go back there again.

We like the location as it's very tranquil, 10-15 minutes walk to Hammersmith Station. Good restaurants nearby. We had one meal in the bar which was very nice. The room is very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. They will help you with your luggage if asked. There is no lift to the rooms. Our room 1 is right next to the stairs so you will hear people hauling luggage late at night after arrival or checking out early in the morning. I understand in the old days the sink has the hot water on one side and the cold on the other. But nowadays, it's hard to get used to that as you can never get warm water over the sink. There is no drain stopper and the water is either too hot or too cold. It would be nice to have socket on both side of the bed too. Overall, for the price we paid, we are more than satisfied. What's mentioned are just something to think about.

On arrival staff were lovely and helpful, explained can come down into the bar, can buy a meal etc. Explained about the breakfast if want one.
The room itself was good. Lovely big bed, nice and comfy, all nice clean sheets, lots of towels, huge fluffy soft white ones for use after a shower. They had a nice size TV to watch, a coffee making machine with diff flavour coffees to choose from, usual kettle cups etc.
This BnB could do easily be made so much better for the public to use and I'm sure they would get lots more customers. It's the little things that need sorting, the handle screws on the shower door missing, bit of the handle on the tap missing, toilet roll holder bar missing... Little things like that.. needs a general DIY guy there to put it all correct and then it be perfect.
Also needs a small fridge as they give you 2 small lovely size bottles of milk for your coffee, but mine was warm and it tasted like just on the turn so no milk 2 use.
Lovely cheery place... Once you have found it. 😆

Room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed, great amenities, fantastic location, close walk to tube & buses. Nice little cafe next door. It is above a pub but it’s quiet and the pub has good dinner options.
