Enjoy a welcoming visit to Villa Russell, two minutes from the beach and Russell's restaurants, yet totally private and secluded. Relax with magnificent views of Russell's bay and wharf from the deck or our beautifully restored 1910 villa or from our guest cottage with spacious guest rooms, all with ensuites, and large verandah, all surrounded by mature native trees and birdsong. Imagine having breakfast served al fresco, on your own verandah, while seeing nature at its best. There are 3 guest suites all beautifully appointed with superking or queen size beds each with luxurious New Zealand pure wool underlays for your comfort. Your suite is complete with tea/coffee facilities, refrigerator, microwave, TV, DVD, and laundry facilities. Off street parking is provided. A short walk takes you to Long Bay surf beach or historic Flagstaff Hill and native bush. Make your stay even more special with a day sailing charter on our 11.6M yacht "Kingfisher" or 15M "Kama Lua", an awesome way to explore the beutiful sights the Bay of Islands has to offer. Historic and romantic Russell is the oldest town in New Zealand and the first capital. With its museums and craft shops it is an ideal way to explore New Zealand's early history. With three beautiful beaches and nature walks it provides an idyllic holiday.
