Jozankei Onsen tours

Als solo-reiziger heb ik een geweldige tijd gehad tijdens deze tour; we hebben een mooie verscheidenheid aan bezienswaardigheden meegepakt voor wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. Het beste deel was de gids, Alex; hij presteerde het om de groep in drie talen (Mandarijn, Engels en Japans) te woord te staan. Hij vertelde meer over de plekken waar we naartoe gingen dan welke dan ook van de vele bustours die ik heb gemaakt. De volgende keer dat ik met het gezin terugkeer naar de regio Sapporo/Hokkaido, zal ik deze tour zeker weer proberen en hopelijk krijg ik Alex dan weer als gids.

We set foot in Hokkaido for the first time in 2005, and this time we joined a 1-day local tour via Klook. We are grateful for the great weather today, the well-arranged itinerary highlights, and the relaxed pace. We plan to continue using Klook when we go to Okinawa next year. Also, our tour guide today, Jenny, was very attentive and a great communicator. Managing a group of 40 people today is not easy, but she handled it tactfully and effortlessly. Furthermore, Jenny has strong language skills, being able to explain clearly in both English and Mandarin (her native tongue) with a well-organized delivery that made it easy for us to understand clearly. My wife and I give both the itinerary and Jenny a 5-star rating today. Finally, thank you, Jenny, for leading today's tour. 🤝

The tour guide was extremely professional, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa for her detailed explanations and enthusiastic assistance. It was truly meant to be that both of the two-day Klook tours we purchased were led by Lisa. This morning featured a guided tour of downtown Sapporo, while the afternoon took us further out to the Head Buddha and Jozankei Onsen, making the trip well worthwhile. Considering the price of this tour, if we had traveled independently, the transportation costs alone would have exceeded what Klook charged, so we felt it was a fantastic value.

The itinerary was well-planned, not too rushed and not too slow. My favorite part was the first stop, the Hill of the Buddha. Our guide, Hikaru, was very nice and impressively fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and English 👍. If you enjoy architecture, nature, and history, I highly recommend this route.
