Akaroa-tours

we booked the tour last minute as we are a bit hesitant that the farm is 1.5hrs away from christchurch town. but ended up booking and just decided to take their 11am tour. surprisingly, the alpacas dont have any foul smell and looks like they are well taken cared of. the activity is fun too, you will get the meet and touch the male alpacas first then they will let you feed the female and new borns.

The tour is so amazing!! We saw the landscape of the Akaroa and the went to the Flea Bay for kayaking. We saw the blue penguins and a lot of sea seals in the bay and finally the penguin nest up on the glass.

Such a fun trip! it was a good, small group with a guide so it was so easy to ask questions and get a personalized tour. We drove around and stopped 4 or 5 times for pictures and learned the history of the area. Seeing the penguins up close and learning about the conservation efforts was amazing.

Luca was very friendly and passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences about our space. We were lucky to see the aurora on the day of our visit. He patiently answered all our questions esp our enthusiastic son had too many questions. Very informative session, highly recommend him.

Worth the journey to have a look at the glow worms in pitch black darkness. The boat ride is about 45 mins each way. The walk into the cave wasn't that far as highlighted. The guides were excellent and friendly, providing entertaining explanations on the cave and the glow worms.

Cruising through Milford Sound was breathtaking — towering cliffs, mirror-like water, and incredible views. The only pity was that the weather was too perfect that day, so we didn’t get to see the famous waterfalls in full force. Still, an unforgettable journey into one of New Zealand’s natural wonders!

Mijn familie en ik vonden de tour over het algemeen geweldig. Onze gids was zo professioneel en vriendelijk (8:10 uur 12/7). We hadden geluk met het mooie weer. Ik raad aan om 's ochtends te gaan, omdat het dan niet zo heet is in de zomer.
