Montserrat tours

Geweldige tour en erg handig, vooral voor soloreizigers of groepen. Het bespaart u het gedoe van het plannen van vervoer en de prijs is het waard. Montserrat was prachtig en de uitzichten waren adembenemend. Slechts een kleine opmerking: de tour omvat een wijnproeverij, maar tijdens ons bezoek kwamen we er alleen langs en hebben we de proeverij niet kunnen ervaren. Over het algemeen nog steeds een prachtige en memorabele reis.

the tour is well organised, both of the tour guides are well prepared and knowledgeable. there were an accident in the morning, where all the participants needed to wait for the driver to arrive for an hour at the meeting point. it was not a big problem and the tour delayed a hour to dismiss as it was late to start. what makes it a good tour is that there were two guides and they divided the group to two smaller groups for each of the locations for walking tour, so it’s much easier for the small group to follow. Even some of the people just have a bad habit of not being punctual and the whole group needed to wait for them to depart at different location, the guide were professional enough to manage the schudule of the day.

The day before,I decided to spend the morning exploring separately, so I booked this tour at the last minute. Both Marc and Jesus made the experience so much fun from the very beginning. Since there was a Spanish-speaking family in the group, Jesus led our tour, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He shared fascinating insights into the history, geography, and artwork of Montserrat, pointing out details I would never have noticed on my own. After taking the funicular,he continued explaining the landscape, the unique rocks, and plants along the trail as we hiked back down. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how thoughtful and attentive he was, always making sure I felt included and comfortable. Joining this tour with Marc and Jesus was without question the best decision I made during my time. They made this beautiful city even more memorable, and because of them, I already know I’ll want to come back someday. Thank you Marc and Jesus for such a wonderful experience!

Gids: De gids is geweldig en aardig. Reisschema: De planning is eigenlijk goed, hoewel de tijd een beetje krap is als je veel mooie foto's wilt maken, aangezien je 15-20 minuten naar de plek moet lopen. Ik moet wel zeggen dat de controlepost de rit waard is! Wat de wijn betreft, adviseer ik persoonlijk betere instructies voor wijnarrangementen met geschikte snacks, kaas en olie.

De gidsen Carol and Merak waren uitstekende Engelstalige communicatoren die humor en gevatte opmerkingen combineerden met historische feiten, waardoor het allesbehalve saai was. Absoluut de moeite waard van de reis

Het is echt handig en je bezoekt 3 verschillende gebieden in één dag. De reisleider is erg behulpzaam en informatief! Zeer aan te raden als je wat reistijd wilt besparen!

Barcelona is prachtig. De buitenkant van de Sagrada Família is majestueus. Ook Montserrat is een historische bezienswaardigheid die je absoluut moet bezoeken. Onze gids en chauffeur Luis is zeer deskundig en behulpzaam met al onze vragen. Een absolute aanrader!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had a great experience with Hernando as the only Taiwanese guest in the group. He provided Chinese translation and additional explanations alongside the official English/Spanish guide, helping me better understand the history and culture of Montserrat. Hernando arrived early and was very helpful when I was almost late, patiently guiding me to the meeting point so I could catch the bus in time. When I wanted to re-enter the church, he also communicated with the staff and helped me get back inside. Throughout the trip, he was friendly, professional and genuinely thoughtful. He shared great recommendations for Barcelona’s attractions, restaurants and bars, and kindly took photos for me. I also appreciated that when he introduced other company tours, he never pressured me to buy anything. He simply shared useful information and left the choice to me. Overall, Hernando made the trip much more enjoyable. I highly recommend him, especially to Chinese-speaking travelers!
