Zelve Open Air Museum tours

Our tour guide BB was so friendly and kind. She answered many of our questions and even taught us some Turkish! Her English was very clear and slowly spoken, so even as a Japanese person, I was able to understand easily! The tour content and the places we visited were wonderful, but I just wish we had a bit more free time to relax. (Since it was only about 20 minutes, we couldn't quite see everything in the larger areas and had to reluctantly head back to the meeting point...) This tour was such a lifesaver around Cappadocia, where public transportation is limited! I was also happy that we could choose from traditional Turkish dishes to vegan options for lunch! (My photos aren't great, but besides the main dish, it came with a salad, soup, bread, and dessert, while drinks were extra!) Group size: 18 people

It was smooth, exciting, with the right amount of time to spend, as well as some given free time to explore the sites. The attractions are close together, which made the rides enjoyable. I liked that it wasn't a big group. My tour guide, Rabía, is great, professional, informative, and she always checked on us. I really appreciated her. The buffet-style lunch was fresh and tasty. Just one thing was out of the itinerary written here: we had a quick stop for a complimentary Turkish food and coffee tasting session at a store, which I didn't mind because I didn't feel any pressure to shop. It was lovely that they offered you a deal after the tasting and prior to your browsing at the store. The customer service team of this tour was good as well, and the response time was reasonably quick. I recently participated in the Cappadocia Red Tour, and to put it simply, I was completely satisfied. Cappadocia is vast, with many places requiring travel by car, and this tour took us to many wonderful spots at a reasonable price. Our Turkish guide was fantastic, explaining things with humorous jokes in Korean, which made my solo trip very enjoyable. The included buffet lunch offered a variety of dishes, and considering everything that was included, I believe it was an incredibly cost-effective trip. I highly recommend this tour to other Koreans!

Kijk uit over de iconische 'schoorsteen'-rotsformaties van Göreme in Cappadocië en dwaal door ondergrondse steden en rotsgrotten, om zo de ervaring te voelen van het reizen door geschiedenis en natuurlijke wonderen. Van bovenaf gezien lijken dit door de tijd gekerfde rotslandschap en de grotten wel op het oppervlak van een andere planeet. Loop door duizenden jaren oude rotsruïnes en ondergrondse steden, en kijk door de smalle stenen vensters naar buiten, waar geschiedenis en natuur een adembenemende indruk achterlaten. Wandel 's middags tussen de hoge bomen, waar koel beekwater onder je voeten stroomt en de droge hitte onmiddellijk verdrijft. Omringd door zwermen ganzen en eenden in de vijver, en begroet door een plotselinge close-up van een kat langs de kant van de weg: naast de grandioze landschappen vormden deze levendige en genezende kleine momenten de meest tedere noot van vandaag.

The day tour was very well organised, with timely service and excellent assistance throughout. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was handled smoothly and on time. The lunch provided was decent, but I think there should be better options for vegetarians. Rest I would recommend this day tour!

Jacob is een zeer goede en professionele gids, die bij elke bezienswaardigheid op boeiende wijze alle historische achtergrond en context met ons deelt. Het is absoluut de moeite waard om deel te nemen aan deze tour om Cappadocië echt goed te begrijpen. De bus zit comfortabel. Het buffetlunch is geweldig met vele opties.

Okan zorgde er de hele tijd voor dat het ons aan niets ontbrak, waardoor we een heerlijke dag hebben gehad. Het is onvermijdelijk dat er soms bij een souvenirwinkel wordt gestopt, maar dat is bij tours in Japan zelf natuurlijk niet anders. Het waren plekken die we in onze eentje nooit hadden kunnen bezoeken, dus we zijn echt blij dat we deze tour hebben geboekt! Er worden ook hotel-tours aangeboden, maar er is geen enkele andere Nederlandstalige tour die zo betaalbaar is! Twijfel je nog? Dan raden we je dit zeker aan!

Our guide, Tamer-san was extremely knowledgeable about the tourist sites, spoke excellent Japanese, had a great sense of humor, and showed wonderful kindness and consideration toward travelers. He also made many fun and thoughtful suggestions that truly made our Cappadocia sightseeing experience unforgettable. Thank you very much. I would highly recommend him to Japanese tourists visiting Cappadocia.

The guide and management were very helpful during our 1st time in Goreme. The ensured us not to miss any single detail of the beautiful places and information.
