Museum of the City of New York tours

This is the second time I've booked this tour which says a lot. The first time was for a solo trip, and this second time was bringing around family. The Tour guide Jay was amazing as he shared a lot of history about the islands and the statue and was very fun and enthusiastic as well.

Geweldig museum! Het lijkt wel alsof je minstens een week nodig hebt om het te bekijken. Ik was zo gefascineerd door de impressionisten dat ik de groep kwijtraakte.

The Circle Line Harbor Lights Cruise is widely regarded as one of the best sightseeing experiences in New York City because of its impeccable timing: departing at dusk, it lets you watch the Manhattan skyline transform from a warm golden hour into a sparkling sea of illuminated skyscrapers. Over two relaxed hours, the boat glides down the Hudson, passes within close range of an illuminated Statue of Liberty for prime photo stops, and cruises under the lit-up Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges, all accompanied by engaging, knowledgeable live commentary from local guides. While popular sailings can feel crowded—making it smart to arrive 45 minutes early to grab an outdoor seat on the starboard (right) side—the stunning panoramic views and climate-controlled lower decks make it well worth the ticket for both first-timers and return visitors.

This was an awesome experience. Had a great time with tour guide Nick. He was very knowledgeable, witty, and kind. He took pictures of us along the way. Wish we did 2 hours instead of 1. It went by so quickly. Definitely recommend this if it’s your first time to New York and want to relax, enjoy the views and also learn some history!

De gids kende het Metropolitan Museum of Art erg goed, waardoor ik het in alle comfort heb kunnen bekijken. De uitleg was ook heel helder en gedetailleerd; ik ben echt blij dat ik aan deze tour heb meegedaan.

Alles verliep soepel en we hebben veel geleerd over de geschiedenis en bezienswaardigheden van New York. Ik zou deze tour zeker aanraden aan iedereen die New York bezoekt, vooral als het je eerste keer in de stad is. 5 sterren ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ voor Susan de gids en de chauffeur.
