Yakcheonsa Temple tours

Deze tour was het absolute hoogtepunt van mijn verblijf op Jeju. Ik ben ontzettend blij dat ik ervoor heb gekozen. Normaal gesproken doe ik niet aan tours. Ik wil in het bijzonder Choi bedanken voor het zijn van de beste gids. Hij was leuk, grappig en gaf ons veel interessante informatie over het eiland en de Koreaanse cultuur.

Bedankt Peter voor de hele dagtour. Hij heeft veel verteld over de geschiedenis van Jeju-eiland, dingen die je normaal niet op internet vindt. Hij gaf ons ook voldoende tijd om rond te kijken. Ik vond de voorstelling van de Haenyeo en Hamdeok Beach (geweldige timing om te bezoeken) geweldig. Het was een fantastische reis.

Voorafgaand aan deze tour heb ik de gids, Steven, een bericht gestuurd dat ik in de omgeving van Seogwipo verblijf, maar dat de ophaallocatie in het oosten is. Ik had niet verwacht dat hij zo meegaand zou zijn. Hij zei dat we moesten wachten bij de eerste stop, de Cheonjiyeon-waterval. De uitzichten tijdens deze tour waren adembenemend 😍😍 We hebben heerlijk geluncht en de Hallasan-berg is gewoonweg prachtig. We hebben niet kunnen wandelen omdat we er niet voor in de stemming waren, maar we hebben wel een gemakkelijkere route kunnen doen. Omdat Steven wist dat we in dit gebied verbleven, deed hij extra zijn best om ons te helpen een taxi naar huis te boeken. Zijn service is uitstekend. Absoluut een aanrader.

Olivia was een supervriendelijke en boeiende gids, en ik heb echt genoten van haar verhalen. We hebben veel plaatsen kunnen bezoeken, waardoor de dag erg vol en snel voorbij leek te gaan. Het vervoer was comfortabel en handig, en alles verliep soepel en op tijd. Over het algemeen was het een geweldige ervaring!

Jina is een geweldige gids! Ze is vriendelijk, gastvrij, deskundig en professioneel. Ze geeft veel informatie en verhalen onderweg naar de plaatsen die we gaan bezoeken, wat onze reis leuk en zinvol maakt. Ze hielp ons ook met het maken van familiefoto's en gaf ons lokale tips en aanbevelingen. Het landschap in Jesu is fantastisch. Ik hoop het nog eens te bezoeken.

The tour was very good. Our guide Jina was very helpful with the suggestions and always kept on storytelling us about the places, people and their culture. She never let the vibe go down in the whole trip.

Our guide, Ella, was incredibly friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable about the local history.

If you're a friend coming to Jeju Island, I would highly recommend my tour guide Jin from Klook. (As everyone knows, whether it's the east line or west line, buses run infrequently and the wait times are long 🥲) Jin mainly leads foreign tour groups and occasionally has Chinese guests. His English is fluent with absolutely no Korean accent (to the point where we could chat happily and enthusiastically), and he can also speak simple Chinese. The local restaurants he recommends (such as pan-fried grouper) are all delicious with no misses, and the average cost per person is around 70 RMB — even a set meal is very affordable. Jin's business card has his WeChat, and he also has WhatsApp and IG, so it's very convenient to reach him. I guess I really do have a knack for finding good tour guides :). Since Klook/Trip take a 25% cut, booking directly with Jin is more cost-effective. I genuinely recommend him (0% AI, 100% authentic — no sponsorship, just my honest opinion).

Seven pax in a comfortable vehicle was indeed a very private trip ! Such a short hours in beautiful Jeju , we got to taste local foods bibimap for lunch and orange mochi for tea. Next got to shop at our favourite store Olive Young , grabbed some of our favourite skin care and makeup essentials. Last but not least , several instagramable photos on the scenic visit to the coastal cliffs , forested waterfall and brief boardwalks . 2 bonus sight , to the Buddha temple where we given blessing while the monk chanting and a link bridge with a easy climb ! Wish I could stay a night here to watch the stars !
