Kenting National Park snorkelen

De instructeur legde alles heel gedetailleerd uit, wat voor ons, als beginnende snorkelaars, een geweldige ervaring was. De kinderen hadden ook enorm veel plezier en riepen voortdurend van verbazing bij het zien van de diverse en rijke onderwaterwereld – we hadden zelfs het geluk om groene zeeschildpadden te zien!

De instructeur genaamd Hsuan was echt geweldig; hij raakte niet in paniek en hielp me ontzettend goed toen ik tegen een klein probleempje aanliep. Al met al heb ik enorm genoten van de ervaring. Ik hoop de volgende keer zelfstandig te kunnen duiken.

Deelnemen aan de SUP- en snorkeltocht bij de zonsopgang op zee. De rustige ochtendzee is prachtig en we waren zo enthousiast toen we tijdens het snorkelen drie zeeschildpadden tegenkwamen. Instructeur A-Zhi gaf een zeer informatieve uitleg en heeft ook uitstekende fotografische vaardigheden. Kortom, we hebben erg genoten en komen de volgende keer zeker terug!

Wat een geweldige ervaring, lieve en gepassioneerde mensen die de tour leiden en ondanks de taalbarrière waren ze erg geduldig, attent en vriendelijk. De instructeur trekt je aanvankelijk rond terwijl je aan een drijver vastzit om je naar het rif te brengen en ervoor te zorgen dat je je snorkeluitrusting correct kunt gebruiken; daarna kun je zelf op verkenning gaan. Zoveel prachtige vissen, niet invasief voor het milieu (beschermd zeegebied) en een hoogtepunt was het zien van een schildpad. Ze maken zelfs een paar foto's voor je en uploaden deze naar hun Facebook zodat je ze kunt downloaden.

Leuk! Zag schattige vissen en schildpadden… goede instructeur… duidelijke instructies… zeker een aanrader… als ik meer tijd had in Kengting, zou ik de certificatiecursus doen…

“The Excitement of My First Dive in Taiwan” My two children got their Open Water Diver (OW) certification in Hong Kong in July, and their first practical dive was here in Kenting. We initially went to another shop that had a lot of online ads and a large facility, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. Luckily, I had booked with Nanyung Diving! Nanyung's shop isn't big, but it's full of warm Taiwanese hospitality. They never rushed us, allowing us to take our time listening and learning. Coach A-Wei was incredibly friendly and gave very clear instructions; the introductory divers followed him. My children went with the experienced Master Tang-ge, who continuously taught them diving techniques and knowledge along the way. With them in his care, I felt at ease to enjoy my own underwater world! We didn't have plans for the next day, so we booked another morning dive with them. This time, the children went with Coach Long-Long, who meticulously searched for small marine creatures in the ocean for them to see. My older son said that once, the coach pointed to a pile of sand, and they looked and looked, not knowing what to see. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be an adorable sea bunny! For these two days, the waves near the shore were quite strong! Since it was a shore dive (introductory dive), we couldn't walk into or out of the sea on our own. Fortunately, Coach A-Wei is strong and familiar with the terrain. Whether going out or coming back to shore, all we had to do was float and relax, and he single-handedly towed both of us safely to the center of the sea. We're so grateful for his hard work! As Master Tang-ge said: “The system isn't important; skill is!” Similarly, the shop isn't important; skill is! When I was diving with the other shop, I thought, “Oh my god! Is this all Kenting diving has to offer? So disappointing!” We are so thankful to the coaches at Nanyung for giving us a perfect experience! P.S. The owner was kind, the diver was kind, and everything was great. Since it was my first time, they gave me plenty of training in the shallow areas. The underwater scenery was beautiful, and there were so many fish. I'll definitely come back to Hengchun for another vacation and will book again then. I wish the owner even more success in their business!
