Er waren heel duidelijk veel walvissen en dolfijnen te zien, en de bemanning en kapitein van de boot waren erg vriendelijk! (Alle onderstaande foto's zijn gemaakt met mijn iPhone, wat aangeeft hoe duidelijk de walvissen te zien waren! De walvissen-snelweg is echt)

Vergeleken met de betaalde tours in Australië, die vaak duizend tot tweeduizend kosten, is de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding van deze tour relatief hoog. We kozen ervoor om rond vier uur 's middags te varen, en het was fantastisch om zowel de zonsondergang als het nachtzicht te zien. Langs beide oevers stonden huizen met boten, en het landschap onderweg was prachtig!

Het was zo'n geweldige ervaring en de bemanning gaf veel inzicht over de walvissen. We waren betoverd om de walvis van dichtbij te zien en hebben zoveel geleerd van de kapitein. De boot was ook zo schoon en het personeel zorgde goed voor de mensen aan boord door medicatie tegen zeeziekte aan te bieden en iedereen van tijd tot tijd te controleren. Zou het zeker nog een keer doen met dit team!

Max was fantastic! As it was our first time driving an electric GoBoat, he explained everything clearly and made the instructions very easy to understand. His friendly and professional approach gave us the confidence to enjoy the experience from the start. We had an amazing time on the water and would highly recommend it. Het zal uw reis aangenamer maken. De presentaties over het zeeleven zijn hier zowel vermakelijk als leerzaam, waarbij de dolfijnenshow een absoluut hoogtepunt is. Het ijsberenverblijf biedt fascinerende inzichten in deze prachtige wezens, terwijl de pinguïnontmoeting een heerlijke, persoonlijke ervaring biedt. De Storm Coaster combineert een spannende rit met een educatief element over extreem weer. Het Nickelodeon Land-gebied is perfect voor jongere kinderen, met ontmoetingen met personages en rustigere attracties. De zeehondenpresentatie toont de intelligentie en behendigheid van deze geweldige dieren. De ligging van het park aan het water biedt prachtige uitzichten, vooral bij zonsondergang. De onderwaterkijkgebieden bieden een ander perspectief op het zeeleven dat u niet mag missen.

All the staff were polite, and the singer was excellent, knowing how to create a great atmosphere. There isn't much of a night view on the Gold Coast, so if I had to choose again, I'd opt for the lunch cruise. I've been on a dinner cruise in Sydney before, and both the scenery and food were noticeably higher quality there.

We booked this activity after our whale watching tour. When I showed them the Klook voucher, I was able to check in and was instructed to get changed and meet at the designated spot 5 minutes before the start time. We waited comfortably in the whale watching reception area until it was time. SeaWorld was right in front of us, so I think it would be a great idea to combine this activity with a visit to SeaWorld. When the time came, the only preparation needed was to put on life jackets. The staff helped each person put theirs on, which was reassuring. There's a storage area for belongings, about the size of a locker at a hot spring, where you can put your items. However, the locks are easily opened by anyone, which made me feel very uneasy about security. If you want to bring things to the boarding area, I'd suggest putting only essential items in a waterproof case and keeping them close to your body. But I haven't tried that method myself. I just went with the flow, put my valuables in the locker, and enjoyed the activity. It was cold at the beginning of September, but the driver and staff were very enthusiastic, making it a fantastic memory. I purchased the GoPro video they took for $25. It included a photo with the boat at the beginning and a reaction video of us on the ride. The video was edited like a commercial, so it was definitely worth it. It was an activity I'd love to do again.
