Zeer ontspannende ervaring. We zijn dol op een verblijf in Hoshino Resorts KAI Yufuin. Alles was perfect.

The room was large, the staff were friendly, and there were many amenities provided. The toilet was even motion-sensing, very high-end. The hot spring is available 24 hours a day, and the temperature is just right, so you can soak anytime. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the service was excellent. It's located near Lake Kinrin, and you can walk to admire Lake Kinrin in the evening and morning, which is comfortable and pleasant. The parking lot is large and parking is convenient.

The room was quite large and had its own onsen to soak in. The staff also provided a welcome drink, and everything was great until a bunch of bugs suddenly appeared at night. However, the kids were already asleep, so I didn't bother to mention it to the hotel. It's probably because it's in a mountainous area, so there are more bugs. The outdoor onsen also had a lot of bugs when I looked at it in the morning. That's pretty much it; everything else was fine.
Cleanliness: I'm giving it three stars because the room was clean, but there were a lot of bugs at the end.

All the staff were friendly, so I had a relaxing stay without any problems or difficulties. Breakfast and dinner were both decent. If I had to pick a drawback, it would be that it's a bit far from Yufuin Station and uphill, making it quite difficult to walk with a suitcase. I tried both the public open-air bath and the private bath (reserved in advance), and although they felt a bit dated, they were well-maintained.

I was very satisfied with this stay. The hotel is new and the rooms are large. All are detached houses with private open-air baths. The staff are professional and attentive, and the food is delicious. The only drawbacks are the slightly remote location and the Western-style breakfast, but I would choose this hot spring hotel again next time I go to Yufuin.

Although this hotel requires a bit of a walk, it's absolutely worth it for people who love hot springs~~ The overall hotel style also really matches the feeling of Yufuin, even the entrance is beautiful, and the overall environment is very clean!!! The large public bath is also very comfortable😌 There's a convenience store right next door, and it's super close to the shopping area and Lake Kinrin in Yufuin!! Worth it

Eerste keer Klook • Deelname door 1 Japanse persoon • Meertalige gesprekken (☓) voor mij. Ik had me voor 100% voorbereid op een onwennig gevoel en me aangemeld! De reisgids maakte er een Happy-ervaring van! Met een stralende glimlach begeleidde hij me naar de bus met de woorden: 'Geen zorgen, het komt goed'. Zoals hij zei, was hij de hele tijd attent op iedereen • Uitleg voor de bestemming + elementen die hij had opgedaan door eerdere ervaringen en een gevoel voor humor! Hij sprak vloeiend Japans, Engels en Chinees. Voorste rij zitplaatsen (beperkt aantal) + prijs → Volgens de gids was er deze keer, omdat er weinig deelnemers waren, voldoende ruimte voor en naast de stoelen! Je had goed zicht op het landschap tijdens de rit en deze keer had ik geluk en was het boeken de juiste beslissing! Maar de volgende keer is dat misschien niet zo. Het is afwachten! Ten slotte vond ik het altijd fijn om zelf een reis te plannen, maar dankzij de reisgids heb ik een nieuwe deur kunnen openen, en als de kans zich voordoet, zou ik weer aan een busreis willen deelnemen. Hartelijk dank aan de reisgids en de chauffeur ✨

Ik wil graag onze gids Helen prijzen. Hij spreekt vloeiend Engels en beantwoordt geduldig alle vragen. Ze heeft veel kennis over de toeristische plekken en is bereid om een foto voor je te maken. Dat is een pluspunt, vooral voor soloreizigers. Heel erg bedankt, Helen!!! Sayonara….

I had an amazing day joining the tour to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Yufuin Floral Village, Beppu Ropeway, and Kamado Jigoku departing from Fukuoka.
Our first stop was Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, which was beautiful and peaceful. The traditional architecture, bridges, and surrounding nature made it a perfect place to start the trip. It’s also a great spot to experience Japanese culture and take lovely photos.
Next, we visited Yufuin Floral Village, which felt like stepping into a fairytale. The small shops, themed buildings, and mountain views were charming. There were lots of cute souvenir stores and snacks to try, making the visit fun and relaxing.
One of the highlights was riding the Beppu Ropeway. The view from the cable car was absolutely breathtaking, especially overlooking the mountains and the city of Beppu. It’s a must-try experience if you want to see the beautiful scenery of the area.
Finally, we stopped at Kamado Jigoku, one of Beppu’s famous hot spring “hells.”
