itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

informatieve rondleiding door de veerbootbemanning die het eiland per bus bezocht en de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden aandeed. Goed georganiseerd. Had graag de vuurtorens en enkele stops van de tour bezocht, maar het weer was die dag behoorlijk slecht.

This was an amazing tour. Started with pickup by Sam from Lumineer at 12.25pm from our chosen hotel in a Toyota Coaster minibus; there were 13 of us on this tour, a comfortable group with people from Australia, US, Asia. Then we picked up Keith (the astronomer), then sandboarding, and finally about 4+pm while still bright, at the Pinnacles desert until dark. *What we love: (1) Sam & Keith: engaging, informative, knowledgeable, hands on. (2) BBQ dinner cooked by Sam. Fantastic spread with steak, chicken and sausages; wine, bubbly, and instant coffee & soup. (Alas the cold weather hardened the meat quickly). (3) The stargazing: beyond amazing. Keith directed us what to look out for - we saw Venus and the milky way. *Misses for us: (1) Minibus: wife sat where the back wheel was protruding; no recline for the long drive; no mobile charging capability; (2) Sandboarding: fun, but climbing up the sand was tiring, unless you're young:) Overall: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, thank u Sam & Keith!

I heard rumors of its beauty and decided to join the stargazing tour. As a result, the starry sky was incredibly beautiful and deeply moving. But it wasn't just that; the entire day's experience was wonderful, including encountering kangaroos in the park during the day, the sunset view after exploring the desert, and dinner while waiting for the stars to appear. The bus ride was also very comfortable. Since the tour ended past midnight, walking from the bus stop to the hotel was a bit scary, but I made it back without any problems. If it's possible to be dropped off closer to the hotel, that kind of worry might be avoided.

Great experience, it was really worth it. We took on the package with transport from Perth & breakfast. We had to be up really early but thankfully we stayed nearby, just 7 mins drive. The drive itself was about 1.5hr. It was really cold! The process of setting up to balloon deflation took quite some time. BUT THE VIEW WAS 💯

De reis was levendiger en zelfs beter dan ik dacht, dankzij de heer David, omdat hij alles zo goed uitlegde en gedurende de hele reis voor ons zorgde. De regeling was precies goed en de timing was perfect. Ik vind het geweldig!

Our tour guide was very caring and attentive. The itinerary for this tour was incredibly rich. Since the Pink Lake is more beautiful in the morning, the guide thoughtfully arranged for us to visit it on the morning of the second day. They also helped us with free drone photography, which was extremely considerate. The only slight downside was that breakfast was not included at the hotel. The guide also proactively helped us take photos, and all the tour members spoke Chinese, which made for a very friendly atmosphere.

Reisplan: Lancaster Mandoon (wijnproeverij + lunch) Sandalford The Margaret River Chocolate Company Duchstein Gids: De gids en chauffeur heet Barrie. Hij is humoristisch en heeft een uitgebreide kennis van de geschiedenis van de Swan Valley. Hij kan gemakkelijk en boeiend vertellen over de verschillende wijnhuizen en de lokale geschiedenis en cultuur. Zeer aan te bevelen. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding: Maaltijden: We hebben geluncht bij Mandoon. De porties waren groot en het eten was heerlijk. Verschillende mensen in onze groep konden hun maaltijd niet op, dus het is aan te raden om 's ochtends wat ruimte over te laten.

Had a really amazing tour with Don to Margret River. Firstly, hotel pick up was available all around the city to bring us to a meet up point where we will change bus. Then we will get introduced to our tour guide of the day. Don, our tour guide, is a knowledgeable and easy going guy. He went through the history of Australia and the different towns during the two hours drive from Perth to Bussleton Jetty, which is really amazing how he remembers the details so well! We got to visit the Bussleton Jetty, wine tasting at Woody Nooks Wine, lunch at Cheeky Beers, explore Mammoth Crystal Cave, visited the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and a small town in Margret River. Overall the tour was nicely planned out with just enough time for us to explore the areas.
