Ik ben dol op het uitzicht en alles in de set, maar de tour was nogal gehaast. Ik denk dat we meer tijd nodig hadden voor foto's of op zijn minst om van alles tijdens de tour te genieten. Want niet iedereen is bevoorrecht genoeg om dezelfde tour opnieuw te doen. WE-HEBBEN-TIJD-NODIG... het is een tour. Oh, en we begonnen laat. Daarom. Tsk tsk. De gids was echter geweldig. Hij was humoristisch en deskundig. Gewoon gehaast.

Initially, the bus arrived 15 minutes late to the meeting point, but that was my only moment of anxiety. The free malasadas, the magnificent nature and scenery, Dole Plantation, seeing sea turtles while snorkeling, the exquisite garlic shrimp, and the Jurassic Park filming locations—everything was so packed that 10 hours flew by in an instant. Our tour guide, Dirk, seemed to have been an English teacher in Tokyo, so he was fluent in Japanese. Since everyone else in our group was foreign, the tour was conducted entirely in English, but when he spoke to us, he used fluent Japanese. He was so proficient that he could even crack jokes in Japanese. This was my first time in Hawaii, and I'm already planning to go back soon.

Een absolute aanrader voor filmliefhebbers, die een adembenemende, hobbelige en ongelooflijk nostalgische rit biedt door de iconische, filmische landschappen van "Jurassic Valley".

De chauffeur was goed, gaf ons tijdens onze tour goede geschiedenis en details, waardoor ik kennis opdeed over Hawaï. Ik raad aan om de donuts van Leonard te proberen!

De gids was erg levendig en positief, en drong ook niet aan op fooien (maar het is natuurlijk wel beleefd om dat te doen). Na aankomst op de parkeerplaats moet je eerst langs het souvenirwinkelgebouw gaan om je tickets om te wisselen, naar het toilet te gaan en vervolgens op de aangewezen plek te wachten. Daarna moet je nogmaals inchecken voordat je in de bus stapt. Het is dus noodzakelijk om vroeg aanwezig te zijn.

Hoewel het weer niet optimaal was, heeft Moe, onze gids en chauffeur, de bezienswaardigheden zeer zorgvuldig geïntroduceerd en ons voldoende tijd gegeven om tijdens de korte dagtocht van het strand af te gaan en meer van de verschillende natuurlijke landschappen van Hawaï te zien. Ik zou in de toekomst graag nog eens terugkomen voor een diepgaandere reis!

My family and I had a laid back day with Cousin G on the Surf Bus. We took in the sights,treats, waterfalls, kayaking and shopping. It was a well balanced day.
