Een dikke pluim voor Michael, die al het rijden en de rondleiding op zich nam en het ontbijt voor ons klaarmaakte. Het was geen gemakkelijke taak om ons door locaties te rijden en te begeleiden, vooral niet in de regen en kou. Michael was absoluut de meest gepassioneerde gids! Zelfs wilde koala's en kangoeroes gespot!

Uitstekende tourervaring op de Great Ocean Road. De chauffeur was professioneel, vriendelijk en zeer deskundig, waardoor de reis veilig en plezierig was. Het tijdmanagement was perfect — elke stop was goed gepland, zonder gehaast en zonder verloren tijd. De voedselarrangementen waren goed en handig, waardoor we konden ontspannen en genieten van de dag. De stopplaatsen waren perfect gekozen, waardoor er voldoende tijd was om foto's te maken, de omgeving te verkennen en echt te waarderen. Over het algemeen een goed georganiseerde, soepele en kwalitatief hoogwaardige tour. Sterk aanbevolen.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Melbourne, vooral tijdens deze reis. Onze gids was geweldig—zijn naam was Curtis, hoewel hij niet in Australië geboren is, was hij erg goed in het delen van informatie over de lokale plekken en alle andere dingen die we tijdens de reis zagen. Ik vond het fijn hoe hij de groep goed organiseerde, hoe hij strikte instructies gaf zodat iedereen optimaal van de tour kon genieten. De algemene ervaring was geweldig en de kinderen hebben echt genoten van hun tijd in Melbourne!

It was a bang for the buck! Very straightforward itinerary and we were able to go to all of them. Nick, our tour guide, was very nice and gave us a few candies/sweets for the road. Obviously, since it is a tour, expect that time given per location is limited and you need to plan out how to make the best out of the spots to get good photos. The tour was a great experience for me and my mum. I would highly recommend it!

Lisa was een geweldige gids, supervriendelijk, energiek en gepassioneerd over haar land! We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad tijdens de tour. De duur van elke locatie was redelijk. Het busje was comfortabel en Lisa's rijvaardigheid was uitstekend, waardoor we geen last hadden van reisziekte. Hoewel er 's nachts geen foto's mochten worden gemaakt bij de pinguïnparade, waren de pinguïns zo schattig.

De Great Ocean Road-trip biedt een geweldige ervaring. Vanaf het ophalen bij het hotel tot aan het afzetten was de gids zeer coöperatief en altijd behulpzaam. De Great Ocean Road was werkelijk zeer schilderachtig en sereen. Het was zo aangenaam dat je er kippenvel van krijgt als je de stranden en de landbouwgronden overal ziet.

Het was een geweldige ervaring. We bezochten het Moonlight Sanctuary, waar we allerlei Australische dieren zagen. Daarna gingen we naar het strand om de pinguïns te zien. Het was adembenemend. Bob, onze gids, was erg geduldig en grappig, waardoor de hele reis erg plezierig was.

Terry delivered a solid tour on 2 Dec 2025. He knew his country well, stayed patient and kept the mood light. The Puffing Billy train ride was the highlight. I spotted an echidna, several kookaburras and many brown bunnies. He also brought us to scenic places that showed the region clearly. Dinner was fresh fish and chips at one of his favourite spots. The Penguin Parade gave a close view of the penguins returning to shore and it felt special to watch. I left with good memories and would recommend this tour for a smooth and enjoyable day.

Purchasing a multi-attraction pass is cheaper than buying tickets at each location individually. It's recommended to plan your itinerary in advance, book a pass, and then reserve your dates ahead of time. For attractions further away, such as the Werribee Open Range Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, or Sovereign Hill, you need to redeem your pass at least one day in advance; same-day redemption is not possible. We purchased two multi-attraction passes, one for the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium and one for Healesville Sanctuary, both of which were well worth visiting. The aquarium requires at least two hours to explore, with a well-planned route showcasing native Australian marine life. You can scan QR codes along the way for informative explanations and observe laboratories, nurseries, and the rearing process of various marine animals and plants, which is very impressive. The crocodiles here are well-cared for and quite large, allowing you to observe them up close from above. The aerial boat in the crocodile area gives you the feeling of a jungle adventure with a chance encounter with crocodiles. Many areas are cleverly designed for great photo opportunities, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. While exploring, you can enjoy stunning views of the Yarra River from the large glass windows on the second floor of the exhibition hall. The penguin area is a must-see, featuring not only many large penguins but also a section with smaller penguins learning to swim. It's amusing to see how awkward their turning technique is when they're young. The gift shop offers a great selection of merchandise, with many animals not found in other aquariums, including prank snakes, which we bought as gifts for friends. Healesville Sanctuary is highly recommended based on online reviews. Children under 15 enter free on weekends; we visited on a weekday, and there were only about ten people at each exhibit. The restaurant was also quite busy, so if you visit on a weekend, it's best to arrive early due to the larger crowds. This zoo is highly recommended, requiring at least half a day to explore. If you bring children, they might not want to leave the playground area, which features a sandpit, shovels, a suspension bridge, and other fun facilities. We arrived early and didn't leave until 4 PM. Many exhibits have scheduled presentations. The kangaroo and aviary enclosures are only separated by a rope, creating a near-zero-distance experience. Animals like anteaters, koalas, and otters are well-planned and easily accessible, showing that the zoo provides a good environment for the animals. We loved the abundance of phytoncides and towering trees, especially the many eucalyptus trees, and the sounds of wild birds to discover, making it a very relaxing place. Convenience: Some attractions allow immediate entry with the pass, such as Sea Life, but most require booking your tickets one day in advance.
