Hotels in Chiayi

The Chiayi Maison de Chine is the hotel with the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in. I want to stay at Maison de Chine every time I come to Chiayi in the future. The stay also includes a happy hour voucher where you can eat snacks and drink cocktails, draft beer, or red wine next to the lobby. There aren't many snack items, but it's a nice service to have. It's also very close to the Cultural Road Night Market, within walking distance. Both motorcycles and cars can be parked in their underground parking lot.

first time staying at this hotel and despite being a 3 star hotel, the hotel is good with spacious rooms, good variety of breakfast and great location which is just next to wenhua night market. however I didn't see many facilities within the hotel except a restaurant. staff members were generally friendly and helpful but I faced one or two staff at the reception who seemed impatient to answer my questions. check-in and checkout were quick which was fantastic. overall, I will still come back to stay with thos hotel if I visit chiayi again.

The game room is great, the kids loved it. The location is accessible by taking the high-speed rail shuttle bus and then walking about 600 meters. There's also a 7-Eleven and turkey rice nearby, and it's convenient to get to other city attractions.

Er zijn reparatiewerkzaamheden in de buurt van het restaurant, wat geen prettig gezicht is. Als het mogelijk is, en als het nog niet gerepareerd is, verfraai het dan. Gasten zullen dan geen negatief oordeel over jullie hebben. Het is jammer dat er geen activiteiten zijn voor Halloween.

A huge thank you to the extremely helpful male receptionist who was on duty at 1:30 PM on October 13th. I left a plastic bag containing six souvenir packages in the lobby. I didn't realize it until I got to the train station, so I quickly called the front desk to confirm. They said they had it, and I told them I would take a taxi back immediately to get it. I told the taxi driver to keep the meter running, and that I would just run in and come right back out. Unexpectedly, when I arrived at the entrance, I saw that the same receptionist was already waiting for me at the door with the bag in hand. I was so sorry for the trouble! Thank you so much for your help. Also, the room was large and comfortable – a great experience overall.

The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. The front desk staff is friendly, and the pool is great. It's a shame that this time I booked a room without breakfast. Overall, I think this is a very nice hotel. I would choose to stay here again next time I visit Chiayi!

A wonderful stay! Although the pool was under renovation, they thoughtfully included complimentary drink tickets for the bar in the evening. The double room we stayed in wasn't large, but every small space had many clever touches, making it a cozy little surprise. Japanese-style bathrobes were provided in the room, adding to the immersive enjoyment of the hot spring experience!

2025.10.03-05 Chiayi Fanlu Township Persimmon Festival Trip First Stop - Delford Express Hotel Not far from the train station, the first floor is a Taiwan Cooperative Bank, and the hotel is on floors 5-11. After getting my key card, I couldn't open the door to my room. I had to go back down to the lobby to ask them to fix it, but it still wouldn't open. The second time I went down, the girl at the front desk said it might be out of battery, so she came upstairs with her tools. Got a live show of watching a cute hotel staff change the door lock battery 😂😂😂😂 After dropping off my luggage, I went to the lobby to drink the unlimited supply of soda. Went out to buy dinner and brought it back to the hotel to continue enjoying with soda. -- Breakfast was a buffet, pretty basic but filling. But the only cold drink was orange juice, which was a bummer. The soy milk and coffee were both hot. Why didn't they put soda out here~~~~ But the view from the restaurant window was beautiful, made the meal enjoyable. [Overall Thoughts] The bedsheets in the room were clean, the bed was hard, and the pillows were soft. The towels and bath towels were clean and usable. No disposable amenities, but there was body wash and shampoo. It's great that you can buy food and comfortably eat it in the seating area next to the lobby with free soda.

Waking up in Chiayi's city center, you're greeted with a very simple and rustic countryside avenue 😆. I was lucky to book a room during the National Day holiday, but I don't think the value for money is high. The room service menu has limited options, and the firmness of the pillows and mattress didn't meet my personal expectations. I feel like it's a "been there, done that" kind of experience. (The accommodation might be more business-oriented.) If you're interested in the facilities, I recommend choosing a time/date with better holiday deals. The staff at Join's cafe & Bistro are very patient and friendly. I highly recommend the Bailey's Irish Cream. There's an ATM on the first floor, and ice cream and vending machines on the seventh floor, which is a nice touch.
