The location is convenient. It's a great place to wait for friends, casually browse the mall, or check out the nearby commercial street. Don't miss the rooftop bath, which has limited opening hours, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the coastline and relax.

l loved their onsen it was very clean, well maintained and calming . Staff were friendly and kind. It’s a service with a smile. The whole place is very clean and quiet.

A typical traditional business hotel. The cleanliness is impeccable. The housekeeping and service staff are very polite and kind. There are many places to eat in the surrounding area, all within a 5-15 minute walk, depending on your pace. Convenience stores are also very accessible.

A really enjoyable and well-organised experience. The Yufuin no Mori train ride was a highlight, and Yufuin town was lovely to explore. Our guide, Thomas, was highly animated, energetic, and funny, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The itinerary was well paced and it was great value for money.

I visited the Umitamago Aquarium with my kids, and it was a really satisfying family travel destination. We used a rental car to get around, and the accessibility wasn't bad. More than anything, there were many hands-on experience spaces where the kids could participate directly, so there was no time for them to get bored.
It's not just an aquarium where you simply look around, but there are well-prepared experience zones where you can touch and feel, so the kids' reactions were especially good. Being able to see sea creatures up close naturally aroused their curiosity and interest.
Also, there were various programs and performances prepared where you could interact with sea lions, otters, dolphins, etc., so it was great for both kids and adults to enjoy together. The distance from the animals was close, so it felt lively, and it was really good for taking pictures.
Overall, the facilities were well-maintained and the flow was convenient, so I thought it was a good aquarium to visit leisurely with children. I would definitely recommend visiting once for family travel, especially with children.

Dit was zo'n fantastische tour. Heel ontspannen. Goed dat ik dinsdag voor de tour heb gekozen. Gelukkig was er helemaal GEEN verkeer! De reis van Dazaifu naar Yufuin duurde minder dan 1,5 uur. WANG, onze gids, was zo'n lieve meid. Hoewel, als ik één ding mag suggereren - ik zou willen dat ze iets langer zou wachten met het geven van instructies aan de groep zodra iedereen buiten de bus is. Ik merkte net dat ze instructies geeft aan 5-10 personen, zelfs als de meeste mensen nog in de bus zitten. We kunnen slechts 1/4 horen van wat ze met de kleinere groep mensen heeft besproken.

De gids was op tijd en makkelijk om mee te praten. We stuitten op een onvoorziene sluiting of onbeschikbaarheid van een activiteit in mijn reisschema, hij was behulpzaam om een alternatief in de buurt voor te stellen. En was geduldig om op ons te wachten tot we klaar waren op elke plek.

Verblijf in Hakata Chikushi-guchi. Met een gecharterde auto naar de natuurlijke dierentuin, vertrek om 7:30 uur en aankomst bij openingstijd. Koop kaartjes voor de junglebus (alleen tickets tot 12:10 uur). Er waren geen kaartjes meer voor dat tijdstip. Laat de chauffeur van de gecharterde auto ons eerst een rondje door het wildpark rijden, loop even door de schattige dierenhoek en neem dan de junglebus. Vertrek rond 13:20 uur vanuit de dierentuin naar Yufuin. Stap uit bij het Kinrin-meer, wandel door Yufuin en lunch daar. Bel de chauffeur bij de 7-Eleven (rond 15:30 uur) om ons op te halen. Terug naar het hotel in Hakata. De reistijd is vast, en elke attractie kost veel tijd, dus het is niet aan te raden om te veel attracties in te plannen. De dierentuin is niet geschikt om te lunchen. De verste reis is het meest ontspannen om te doen.
