Dingen om te doen in Mornington Peninsula

Ik stapte rond 17.00 uur in de Eagle en het was de perfecte keuze – de zonsondergang was werkelijk ongelooflijk. De kustlijn van de Port Phillip Bay zien gloeien in dat dieporanje licht vanuit de kabelbaan is iets wat ik nooit zal vergeten. Toen ik eenmaal bij het Summit Station aankwam, wandelde ik naar Seawinds Gardens en zag ik zelfs enkele wilde kangoeroes, wat de ultieme kers op de taart was van een prachtige avond.

The vochur from Klook is easy to redeem. Not much variation for the hot spring but it’s still a great experience !

was all worth it. got the two attraction pass and availed Sovereign Hill and Melbourne Zoo. You can definitely save more than buyign invidual tickets.

Geweldige en leuke ervaring! Vicki was een aardige en vriendelijke gids en een geweldige chauffeur. De warmwaterbronnen bestaan uit verschillende kleine baden verspreid over het gebied. Elk bad kan ongeveer 7-10 mensen bevatten. Het landschap rond de baden was erg mooi en het badderen is ontspannend. Het eten in het café bij het zwembad was ook heerlijk! Ik raad aan om het badjas/handdoek/locker-huurpakket (25 AUD) te nemen, want een locker en handdoek zijn een must, en de badjas is fijn om je warm te houden als je van bad naar bad loopt. Na de warmwaterbronnen werden we meegenomen naar een prachtig uitkijkpunt en om de Mornington Bathing Houses te bekijken.

The views along the coast were absolutely stunning, and the hike itself is very beginner friendly. I don’t exercise much normally, but was still able to complete all the walks comfortably. The pacing was well planned, with sufficient time given to explore and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. There are rest options available along the way, so you can sit out certain parts if tired. That said, everyone in my group managed to complete the full hike. The tour started on a great note with complimentary coffee before departure, which was a really thoughtful touch. A big part of the positive experience was our guide and driver, Nat. He was punctual, energetic, and cheerful throughout the day, which kept the group engaged. He was also very knowledgeable, sharing interesting information and tips at each location. The small group size made the experience more personal and attentive, and it was nice that Nat even joined us for some of the hikes. Definitely a tour worth considering!

Entire trip was so seamless and straightforward. Our guide James was really friendly and accommodating. Was a bit unsure at the start because it was raining heavily but he assured us that a little bit of rain would kinda enhance the experience haha. Luckily the rain stopped by the time we got there but it did made dipping in the hot spring more enjoyable. I do wish we could have skipped the boxes though, but I suppose since it was along the route it made sense to just pit stop.

Ik vind het geweldig hoe ze het doolhof goed onderhouden! Het is een leuke ervaring, want ze bieden kleine spelletjes aan om op te jagen, om je door de hele tuin te leiden! Het is jammer dat de lavendel in de zomer niet op zijn best is, maar verrassend genoeg wel hortensia's! Je moet zeker hun lavendelijs proberen voordat je weggaat!

This was a very well-organized tour with fulfilling tastings at each winery, allowing us to enjoy a variety of wines. The lunch was also very delicious. The guide, Mike, contacted us before the tour to confirm details, which made us feel secure participating. Mike was a very good guide, friendly, and treated everyone with great care, leaving a very good impression.
