Chauffeur meneer Fujii is zeer serieus en verantwoordelijk, communiceert goed, heeft uitstekende rijvaardigheid en is erg geduldig om met ons te communiceren en te delen. De vrienden in deze kleine groep zijn ook erg harmonieus en vriendelijk. Op plekken met ijzige en gladde wegen of diepe sneeuwval zal de chauffeur ons zorgvuldig waarschuwen, en de reisgenoten zullen elkaar ook helpen. We hebben het geluk dat er niet veel mensen waren toen we de berg Hakkoda bereikten, de wachttijd was erg kort, het landschap is inderdaad erg mooi en ook erg koud. De avond ervoor regende en sneeuwde het in Aomori, en we hadden ons al voorbereid om de reisroute te wijzigen als de kabelbaan gesloten zou zijn, maar de volgende dag verwelkomden we gelukkig een heldere dag. Tijdens het sightseeing van de Oirase-rivier zal meneer Fujii ook een vertaler gebruiken om ons het verschil te vertellen tussen de landschappen in verschillende omstandigheden. Ten slotte was het najagen van een prachtige zonsondergang tijdens de slaperige terugreis onvergetelijk (ik vroeg de chauffeur om een hartje met me te maken en hij deed het ook hahaha). De dagtocht van Klook is echt van hoge kwaliteit en de communicatie verloopt soepel. Ik heb al reizen in Japan en Korea gekocht, ze zijn allemaal erg goed en bevallen me goed, een aanrader.

Het Chinese Nieuwjaar valt dit jaar in de tweede helft van februari, en de afgelopen dagen in Aomori heeft het nauwelijks gesneeuwd. Gelukkig hadden we op 19 februari een privéauto geboekt voor Hakkoda, Oirase Gorge en Towada. Toen we de bergen inreden, begon het hevig te sneeuwen. Hoewel de kabelbaan gesloten was, hebben we een hele dag genoten van de poedersneeuw! Wie begrijpt het plezier van poedersneeuw! De heer Fukuda is echt heel aardig en professioneel. Hij is de meest attente, professionele en beleefde chauffeur die ik heb ontmoet tijdens al mijn reizen naar Japan en alle keren dat ik een privéauto heb gehuurd! Vanwege de hevige sneeuwval was het zicht in de bergen erg slecht, maar zijn rijvaardigheid was uitstekend, en we merkten geen enkele invloed van het weer. Bij de Oirase Gorge bracht hij ons naar elk uitkijkpunt. Ondanks de sneeuw stond hij elke keer bij de auto op ons te wachten, deed de deuren open en dicht! Attent en zorgvuldig! 100 punten, zeer aanbevolen!

A family of four booked a 7-seater minivan for a day trip, visiting Takayama Inari Shrine, Hakkoda Mountains, Oirase Stream, and Lake Towada. Every scenic spot was stunning, and the whole family had a great time. The driver, Mr. Sato, was a kind and affable Japanese gentleman who drove very well and was very polite. We even encountered a wild fox along the way, and he thoughtfully stopped the car to let us take pictures. Overall, this chartered day trip was very enjoyable and worthwhile.

This is my second time visiting Aomori, and I chose Daiwa Roynet Hotel again. Firstly, there aren't many hotel options here, and secondly, this chain guarantees quality.
As with other hotels in the series, the rooms are quite large and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is also excellent, with a convenience store downstairs and a cafe across the street. It's also just a few minutes' walk to JR Aomori Station, which is great.
Plus, the shopping mall at Aomori Station has been renovated, adding more places to browse. Highly recommended!!!

I was very satisfied with my stay here for 2 nights in Aomori. This is the second time I've stayed at a Dormy Inn since the one in Ikebukuro, and overall the facilities were newer. The onsen (hot spring bath) and free massage chairs, late-night ramen and ice cream, and yogurt in the morning were the best services. The staff were very friendly, and there was apple juice and a coffee machine near the front desk, so it was nice to be able to come and go and drink during the provided times. There were also a variety of amenities and the onsen was clean and had an outdoor bath, so it was great to soak in the hot water in the cold air. If I had to pick a downside, it's about an 8-10 minute walk from Aomori Station, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have a suitcase, but it was fine for us. I would recommend it to anyone and if I have the opportunity to come again, I will definitely stay here again.

The location is a bit far from Aomori Station. Walking in the snow took about 10 minutes, a little tiring. I originally booked a small double room five months in advance (but the photos looked like a single room for two people), but a month before the trip, I casually checked again and found a twin room, which was even cheaper. I booked it through Klook with an 8% discount. Two nights + two people + two days of breakfast for two people = 3911! It's incredibly cheap! I heard that the breakfast here is voted the best in Aomori, but it's just so-so. Not a lot of variety, and I think the voting might be a little inflated. The closest attraction to the hotel is ASPAM, which is nice to walk around, and you can view the entire city of Aomori from its 13th-floor observatory. Highly recommended. The Hotel JAL City Aomori doesn't have many facilities, just standard vending machines and an ice maker. There are two washing machines on the 2nd floor, a standard all-in-one wash, dry, and fold for ¥500, which is a bit expensive, and they're often in use. There's no large public bath, let alone a gym, so just go out and play in the snow! ^_^

Lovely hotel in central location. We used parking option as well. Room was spacious, all amenities provided. Breakfast was Japanese and Western style. Hotel had some nice gallery style exhibitions, like nebuta and ceramics.
