Alles was perfect. Ik heb mijn kimono op de dag zelf geüpgraded naar de premium versie en was er helemaal weg van! Het personeel is supervriendelijk en hoewel mijn Japans basis is, kon ik toch gemakkelijk communiceren. Mijn fotograaf, Akira Nakatani, was geweldig, supervriendelijk en professioneel en zorgde ervoor dat ik me als alleenstaande reiziger op mijn gemak voelde. Ik heb me uitstekend vermaakt en de foto's zijn geweldig geworden! Ik kan deze plek niet genoeg aanbevelen!
Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, erg behulpzaam en sprak Engels, wat hielp. De locatie was geweldig, want er is een heiligdom direct naast de locatie waar je je omkleedt, wat kan helpen om prachtige foto's te maken.
Mijn partner en ik hebben een geweldige tijd gehad met het huren van kimono's voor koppels bij Wakana. Het personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel en hielp ons bij het kiezen van bijpassende kimono's en kleedde ons met veel aandacht voor detail. De kimono's waren prachtig en we voelden ons echt speciaal toen we door de historische straten van Kyoto liepen. Ik raad Wakana ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een naadloze en onvergetelijke kimono-verhuurervaring!
We werden bij aankomst hartelijk begroet door de dames, ons gezin van 5 personen had de beste tijd met het kiezen en professioneel passen van onze kimono's. Het aanbod aan keuzes en accessoires was prachtig en er was geen haast. De locatie is schoon en goed onderhouden, gunstig gelegen nabij parken en heerlijke, authentieke restaurants. Bedankt aan het team van Wakana om onze ervaring zo aangenaam en memorabel te maken :) De nieuwjaarskaart was zo attent!
Het personeel was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en detailgericht. Ze hebben fantastisch werk geleverd met het haar van mijn vriendin en zorgden ervoor dat we ons zeer welkom voelden, ondanks dat we helemaal geen Japans spraken. Ik raad deze plek ten zeerste aan, vooral omdat het gunstig gelegen is nabij een tempel, bushaltes en een treinstation.
We loved our experience here, and all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They are also proficient in english! Our trio also purchased the hair styling set as an add on and it was definitely worth the extra cost and so beautiful despite our coarse curly hair. The selection of kimonos was wide and all were very comfortable and stylish. Could not recommend enough and will definitely come back next time we visit Japan!!
The Kimono rental is located near Yasaka shrine. The service is really quick, all the staff are friendly, and they are also helpful in assisting you which pairs of clothing look good together. The Kimono are simple yet elegant (they have plain colors with few options of those that have patterns). We wanted the simple ones anyways, and surprisingly, they are still warm even in the chilly temperatures of autumn! To save money, we availed their couple plan, which they also offer for homosexual couples. They also gave a free picture of you in kimono at the end after you have returned the kimono.
I had an absolutely amazing experience at this kimono shop! The staff went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect kimono. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, guiding me through the different styles and fabrics with great care. I was so impressed with their attention to detail! What really stood out was how beautifully they styled my hair to match the kimono—it suited me perfectly and added the finishing touch to the whole look. Their skill and creativity with hairstyling made me feel so confident and special. On top of all that, they can speak English fluently, which made the whole process so smooth and enjoyable. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly made this a standout experience. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a stunning kimono and exceptional service!
従業員は親切で、着物を着始めたときに手続きが簡単で迅速に進みます。 ベーシックで予約したのですが、実はベーシックの中にはきれいなものがなくてプレミアムの中から選びました。 ヘアセットまで10万ウォンほど追加されましたが、とてもきれいで後悔がありません。 とてもきれいで気に入っています。 さらに、通報して6時間歩き回りました。 足が痛いですが、本当に楽しかったです！ 次に機会があればまた来たいです。
This was my first time wearing kimono and it was such an interesting experience. The moment we entered the room, my boyfriend and I were each whisked away by employees to our respective male and female sections. Their service is speedy, which is great if you are in a hurry, but it left me a bit dazed as I didn't get much time to peruse the various kimono, obi, and handbag options. The employee who dressed me did give recommendations though and my outfit overall came together nicely. They even take your picture and send you home with a printed photo to keep, which is included in the base package and is no extra charge. They also offer hair services at an extra charge but I opted out of that (hence why my self-prepared hairstyle isn't nearly as pretty as the other women I saw dressed up). If you have the time and money, I would suggest getting the additional hairstyle service to really complete your look. Also, I can only speak a handful of Japanese words but they had English speaking staff at the ready which made the process easy on me. The discounted price for the experience through Klook made it well worth the money. I highly suggest you try out Wakana Kimono!
