Really friendly staff; 7/11 in the hotel which was brilliant for late night snacking! Lounge was excellent; rooms are a little outdated decor wise but spacious. Excellent transport links with a short 5 min walk to Shinagawa station! Overall would recommend.

Hotel was a great value. A lower tier Hotel Chinzanso for half the price! The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful and courteous! Two tips walk through the garden door to get to the green line and don't miss the aquarium around the corner! The aquarium show is second to none!

This used to be the most elegant hotel in Tokyo 38 years ago when I started staying here. The garden (previously owned by Prince Tsuneyoshi Takeda and redesigned by Teiji Kusuoka) was fantastic and was one of the main draws. It is still a good experience, unfortunately they replaced part of the garden with the Prince Sakura tower in the late 90s and haven't really fixed the garden, even now. The rooms are well appointed, if not modernized. The room air conditioning works well, but maybe not as cold as I'd like. The breakfast buffet is good, but the breads are unimpressive. The French restaurant (Le Trianon) is quite good. The service everywhere is excellent. I prefer this hotel over the adjacent Shin Takanawa which is a larger convention hotel. I'll probably continue to stay here as it is very close to the Shinagawa Station with easy access to everywhere.

The hotel was very gorgeous. There is a convenience store inside the hotel which made it very nice when you need to get snacks when you get hungry. There is also a buffet which has both western and Japanese food options. The room I got is a little small but that is expected with Japanese hotels. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest train station but if you don't mind that, I recommend this staying at this hotel

An amazing stay! The location was perfect — the train station was within walking distance, which made getting around so easy. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly nice and welcoming, and the hotel itself was spotless. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!

It was great room for just myself. Clean and nice living space, nice staff at the reception. Two disappointing points where TV doesn’t turn on and no hair cap in the bathroom. I’m sure staff will come to help, but it was late night I notice those. I slept inside the quiet room.

We had a wonderful stay! The station is just a short walk away, which made getting around Tokyo so easy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was very kind. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel!
