This was our favourite accommodation on a trip to Rome-Sorrento-Amalfi Coast-Capri. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views from property and room. Short walk down stairs (for fit people) to Da Adolfo beach restaurant (one of the trips highlights). Highly recommend this spot.

After four weeks of traveling throughout Italy, we arrived with a good sense of what works well and what can fall short—and Villa Santa Chiara offered a bit of both. The property itself is beautifully designed, and it’s clear a great deal of thought and investment went into the renovation. The staff was consistently kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed assistance, which made a meaningful difference in our overall experience. That said, there are a few important considerations for future guests. During our stay, there was ongoing construction, which created intermittent noise. Additionally, because the villas have been newly divided, sound travels more than expected—footsteps in hallways and activity in neighboring units were quite noticeable, and privacy between units could be improved. Logistically, the location required more planning than anticipated. While local buses were suggested, on two occasions they were full, resulting in 30–45 minute waits. This added stress when trying to keep reservations and schedules. With limited on-site food options and transportation costs to nearby towns, guests should plan accordingly. To the credit of the team, they were exceptional in helping us navigate these challenges whenever we reached out, and their attentiveness did not go unnoticed. Overall, this is a beautiful property with strong potential. With a few refinements, particularly around guest experience and logistics, it could easily rise to the highest

Villa Santa Chiara is a gem. Tranquil location updated room amenities, and amazing views. Beautiful room, property, staff very friendly. They clearly care for this place like a home and welcomed us the same. Delivered fresh pastries in the morning for caffe and dolce in our room. Incredible experience. We will be back.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The breathtaking views were the first thing that captured our hearts, the ocean view, sunsets by the water, every moment felt magical. The service was impeccable, with staff who were genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail, from the beautifully designed rooms and view to Positano, it was just perfect. It was the perfect escape, and we’re already dreaming about coming back.

The villa is amazing! Views from the rooms are breathtaking, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! we had a fantastic time with our kids who also enjoyed the common garden area and jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend!
