Naha International Airport-turer

it was raining in okinawa the day i took the trip (it wasn't raining during the bus ride so the staff was nice enough to keep the sunroof open) it was already raining when i got back to the bus and the staff had closed the sunroof beforehand keeping my stuff safe and dry inside!

Gyusekido-dryppsteinene i Okinawa World er svært spektakulære, og det fantastiske tradisjonelle taiko-trommeshowet er også imponerende. Senagajima har en utrolig vakker utsikt og er et flott sted å ta bilder; sjømaten på Itoman-fiskemarkedet er fersk og deilig, og gir en skikkelig god matopplevelse. Funpass-appen gir svært detaljerte guider og forklaringer! Anbefaler Klooks dagstur til det sørlige Okinawa på det varmeste. Turen var allsidig og godt organisert, noe som sparte oss for mye tid på transport og bytte av midler, og gjorde hele reisen både avslappende og hyggelig.

Our Guide Maria was really great. She's fluent in English and taught us a lot about the local history and culture. She was funny and easy going. Even though the castle itself was under restoration after the fire, she showed us around every part that was open to the public and also explained in detail how the restoration process was going. Because of the rain she offered us to skip some walking and take a cab, but we opted to walk instead. She took care of us so we didn't walk into any spider webs and made sure we didn't slip on the wet rocky path. The lunch was amazing, it was a very nice restaurant that we would've never discovered without her. Overall an amazing tour with a lovely guide. 10/10 would recommend

Maria was an awesome tour guide! She was positive, friendly, and answered all my questions. I really appreciated her communication before the tour, reaching out and giving information about where to meet. There was a typhoon coming, so some parts of the castle were closed off in preparation for the storm. The castle is also under rennovation and will be completed later this year. Regardless, I enjoyed seeing the architecture and had an excellent time. Maria explained different cultural and historical contexts that I would have not known had I gone by myself. She also helped take pictures. Lastly, the royal mausoleum was interesting and it felt like a hidden location. I highly recommend taking this tour :)!
