Været var bedre enn forventet, og jeg fikk fantastisk utsikt over Fujisan. Golddy var fantastisk til å fortelle oss hvor vi kunne finne de beste fotostedene, og introduserte oss også for snacks vi burde prøve underveis. Denne turen dekker mange steder, men jeg synes tiden som ble gitt på hvert stopp var god nok.

Dette var en fantastisk dag i Nikko og områdene rundt. Henting var punktlig og som avtalt. Sjåføren vår tok oss med til noen fantastiske steder og ga oss tid til å utforske. Ingen hast, ingen jag, en avslappende og hyggelig tur. Vi anbefaler dette til alle!

Toushin speaks Chinese, so communication was seamless. When we encountered heavy traffic on the first day of the long holiday weekend, they thoughtfully asked if we wanted to take a break at a rest stop before continuing. Pick-ups and drop-offs at each location were also very efficient. I would definitely book a private car service again next time. It was perfect for traveling with my mom and child this time. Vi bestemte oss for å leie en privatbil for en dagstur til Kawagoe, og jeg er så glad vi gjorde det. Kawagoe er den mest sjarmerende lille byen med de mest fantastiske helligdommene og kirsebærblomstutsiktene! Elsket dette sideoppdraget!

Vi innså ikke at dette ikke var en engelsk tur, men reiselederen (carp) var så snill å imøtekomme oss likevel! Alle stedene vi dro til var så kule. Turen var en stor suksess for oss alt i alt!

I really enjoyed this tour. It was very well organized and offered a unique combination of nature, culture, and local experiences. The itinerary included the Shinkansen, the Hokusai Special Train, Shiraito Falls, Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, and a fun wasabi farm experience. Our guide Sunny was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I also appreciated the small group size, which made the tour more comfortable, and the different lunch options available. I would especially recommend this tour to repeat visitors to Japan looking for something different from the classic Hakone & Mt. Fuji route.

The driver contacted us via WhatsApp and email one day in advance regarding the hotel pickup. Today, it was just the two of us, and the company didn't cancel the tour, which we were very impressed by. The driver upgraded us from a minivan to an Alphard, making the 2-3 hour journey much more relaxing. The driver picked us up at the hotel at 8:00 AM, and we arrived at our first destination, Arakurayama Sengen Park, at 9:50 AM. The uphill climb was quite tiring if you rushed, but the descent was very easy. We stopped to buy takoyaki and strawberries at the bottom. Our second stop was Lawson. We chose to walk to the side street and take photos by the train tracks first, then returned to take photos at the front, where we had to queue to get a good view for everyone. The driver bought us water and pudding to try; thank you for your kindness. The driver asked if we were hungry at 11:30 AM, so we had lunch not far from Lawson, which took an hour. Then, we traveled 50 minutes to Lake Tanuki. The weather was cool and windy, and unfortunately, Mount Fuji was obscured by clouds on this side, but the atmosphere was peaceful with few tourists. We spent about an hour there and then traveled 10 minutes to the farm. The entrance fee was 1200 yen, and animal feed was 100 yen per serving. We had two hours there. The driver was Chinese but spoke fluent English.
