Luss-turer

Turen ble guidet av Mr. Jerry, han var veldig entusiastisk og tok oss med til så mange utsiktspunkter i Glencoe som mulig for å ta bilder. Han var svært informativ og ga oss til og med en quiz og belønnet de tre beste vinnerne. Han gjorde den 1-dags turen hyggelig og uforglemmelig. Takk, Jerry fra Timberbush Tour.

Itinerary: Arranged by the travel agency, but sometimes mixed with a Scottish accent, so your English listening skills need to be strong enough to understand the guides along the way. Accommodation choices: Fantastic, most of them were quite good, but some require cash, so be sure to check in advance whether credit cards are accepted. Tour guide: Excellent. The spots visited were all amazing, and being a local, the explanations were spot on. If you're interested in history, listening to them is definitely the right choice. Attractions: Each one was better than the last, making every penny spent well worth it.

Turen til Loch Lomond, Trossachs og Stirling Castle fra Glasgow var ærlig talt en av de beste turene vi hadde under reisen. Båtturen, naturen, de skotske gårdsdyrene, og spesielt Stirling Castle, gjorde opplevelsen uforglemmelig. Stirling Castle var full av historie og ga et flott innblikk i Skottlands fortid og kongelige historie, mens landskapene rundt Loch Lomond og Trossachs var helt nydelige. Reiselederen var svært kunnskapsrik, engasjert og hjelpsom gjennom hele turen, og han holdt alle interessert hele tiden. Min eneste klage er at inngangsbillettene til båtturen og slottet ble betalt separat, og jeg skulle ønske de var inkludert i pakken. Bortsett fra det var turen fantastisk og anbefales på det sterkeste for alle som besøker Glasgow.

The guide maketh the trip! Scot D from Timberbush Tours was amazing. He is clearly passionate about Scotland and is highly well read and educated. Scot knew his history so well, and even choreographed when he would tell a story and the appropriate music to play at every moment. We are a family of four, with an Australian and Hong Kong background and two teenagers. We all enjoyed it. Scot (amazing how he drove, spoke, DJed and did everything by himself and all done safely and to perfection) followed the itinerary, but also managed to give us the freedom to vote where a choice had to be made. All in all, this tour is highly recommended. We booked our own accommodation at the Mercure at Inverness (on the “fun” side of Inverness) where the restaurants were buzzing. All good.

Super trip. We where lucky there was nice weather. The cruise on Loch Lomond is dfinitly also worce your while.
