We had Haruhiko “Sunny” Tamura as our guide, and he was wonderful! This tour was the perfect mix of cultural learning, sightseeing, shopping, and eating.
Sunny did a great job explaining the meaning and stories behind the places we visited. He even brought illustrations to explain customs like how to properly clean our hands and bow, which made learning about Japanese traditions fun and memorable.
He was incredibly friendly, personable, and down to earth. His English was excellent, and we had no problem understanding him or asking questions. He gave us great shopping tips, helped us pick out a few shops he thought we would enjoy, and gave us excellent recommendations for lunch.
It felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable local than following a typical tour. We learned a lot and had a great time. I would absolutely recommend Sunny and would definitely book with him again!
