Ting å gjøre i Sarawak Cultural Village

Vår guide Lucian var den beste. Han var varm og veldig kunnskapsrik. Turen og opplevelsen var flott.

We had a wonderful experience at Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide, Jacky, was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through each of the traditional Sarawak houses, sharing fascinating insights into their history, architecture, and unique cultural heritage. His engaging explanations made the visit both enjoyable and educational. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional cultural dance, which created a wonderful first impression. The stage performances were vibrant, entertaining, and showcased the rich diversity of Sarawak’s ethnic communities with great talent and energy. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching - it is an experience not to be missed!

The tour was well arranged and we managed to get a private car to ourselves since no other people. managed to spot crocodiles and the elusive irrawady dolphins in the morning cruise.

Vi hadde en supergod tur med Hans og hans kaptein, som levde opp til kallenavnet sitt «Ørnøye». Vi så Irrawaddy-delfiner, neseaper, krokodiller og ildfluer. Turen var veldig lærerik og med en dose humor. Barna våre hadde det veldig gøy, og maten om bord var deilig. Guidene tok mye hensyn til dyrene og slo for eksempel ofte og i god tid av motoren for ikke å forstyrre dem. Dette var veldig viktig for oss på forhånd, da vi ønsker å ta vare på naturen og ikke forstyrre dyrene unødig med vår tilstedeværelse. Vi syntes dette var veldig passende og kan anbefale turen på det varmeste.

A very worthwhile trip! We were picked up on time from our hotel, and then driven to the Jetty in Santubong about half an hour or so away, and then ushered onto a boat. Everything felt safe, smooth, and well-planned. A good brunch was provided. And most importantly, we saw dolphins and crocodiles!
