Quinta da Regaleira-turer

Min turguide var Valerio, og han var veldig hjelpsom og imøtekommende under turen. Han tok godt vare på oss og ga verdifull informasjon hvis vi trengte å finne god mat, desserter, shopping osv. Alt i alt har jeg likt turen min så langt!

Guidene Ricardo og Maria var veldig snakkesalige og kunnskapsrike. Jeg var i gruppen med Maria, og hun klarte å formidle den litterære ånden i Portugal under omvisningen, noe som ga oss en dypere dialog med både oss selv og omgivelsene, i tillegg til selve sightseeingturen. Takk for arrangementet. Siste stopp var Cabo da Roca, og det ville tatt lang tid å komme seg dit med offentlig transport, så jeg anbefaler å gå litt raskere og delta på en dagstur.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience on the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira tour. The whole day was well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. Pena Palace was absolutely beautiful, and Quinta da Regaleira was also a highlight, especially the gardens and the famous Initiation Well. The transportation was comfortable and made it much easier to visit everything in one day. There was quite a lot of walking and some steep areas, but it was definitely worth it. Overall, it was a great way to explore Sintra, and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Every part of the tour was thoughtfully planned. We traveled in a clean van, and our guide, David, was professional, attentive, and kind. He even provided me with a Korean translator. The itinerary included visiting the Monserrate Palace first, followed by a stroll through its gardens. After exploring the old town of Sintra, we had free time for lunch. Then, we walked through the gardens of Pena Palace, descended the impressive stairs of Quinta da Regaleira, and explored Boca do Inferno and Cascais Marina. There was no skipping anything; we walked through every garden and truly experienced nature.

Sintra is a extremely hilly environment that requires precise navigation. Manuel was an excellent guide due to growing up in the Sintra. The jeep had issues but we had a backup modern SUV to take us around. We were able to catch a glimpse of Sintra, the furthest west of Europe light tower, and a nice fishing village with a beach to explore briefly. The only negative I have is that to catch a real good glimpse of pena palace or regalaria - you must get out and buy tickets to get inside and see the beauty - this is a completely separate experience. The tour only catches a brief glimpse for quick touring purposes for elderly individuals or families with kids. My suggestion Manuel is possibly ditching either the tower or fishing village - and adding in the walking experience of exploring the pena place or regalaria.
