Otaru Museum-turer

Bestilte denne turen hovedsakelig fordi jeg ønsket å besøke Cape Kamui, som ikke er lett å nå med offentlig transport. Å se det berømte Shakotan Blue på en klar dag var absolutt verdt prisen og den lange reisen. Den store bonusen var å få se Shakotan-kysten, besøke Otaru og stoppe ved Shiroi Koibito Park på samme dag. Som forventet var tidsskjemaet ganske stramt, men dette er forståelig med tanke på de lange avstandene vi måtte tilbakelegge og antall steder som var inkludert i reiseruten. Vår guide, Cici, var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Imidlertid følte jeg at turen kunne ha vært mer informativ. Hun ga oversettelser på japansk og kinesisk og leste de engelske beskrivelsene fra notatene sine, men det var ikke mye ekstra interessant informasjon eller historiefortelling om stedene vi besøkte. Litt mer bakgrunnsskildring, lokalhistorie eller interessante fakta ville ha gjort opplevelsen mer engasjerende.

We really enjoyed the trip to Hell Valley, Lake Toya and Otaru. Our tour guide is very nice,professional,and thoughtful. He explained the history of Hokkaido and every scenic spots in detail . we booked three tours via klook. We got to say that compared to other tour guides in other tour group, this tour guide has excellent language skills in English, Chinese and Japanese. And we also noticed that during our trip only one visitor from Spain needed to have English interpretation. In order not to disturb other visitors, he walked to the back row,sat with him and interpreted for him. Other things which impressed us a lot are a variety of music boxes and steaming Hell Vally. By the way, we will definitely come back to Hokkaido in the winter again.

I highly recommend the Klook Hokkaido day tour I recently took! The itinerary was excellent, taking us through Otaru, Cape Kamui, and finally to the Tenguyama Observatory to enjoy the sunset and night view. The scenery was so beautiful that it was hard to leave; every spot was worth visiting. The gradient blue waters of Cape Kamui were especially stunning, and watching the sunset from Tenguyama, followed by the city lights coming on, was definitely the highlight of the entire trip! The timing, from daytime to evening and then to the night view, was perfectly arranged – never feeling rushed or like time was wasted. The biggest bonus this time was our driver and guide, Mr. Wei (David). His service attitude was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. He was patient throughout the journey and provided insightful information about the attractions, making the whole trip relaxing and worry-free. He also drove very smoothly. This small group tour is truly convenient for first-time visitors to Hokkaido who want to explore several attractions in one go. I was very satisfied with the entire day's itinerary, scenery, time management, and the service of our driver and guide. It was a very pleasant and memorable day trip! I will recommend it to my friends and family in the future.

We were blessed to have Rick as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and speaks English, Chinese and Japanese fluently. The itinerary was well planned, and we had so much fun today. We also had an excellent driver, which made it easy to relax and rest on the bus between stops. If you’re climbing Cape Kamui, do wear comfortable shoes. It’s quite a climb, but the views are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors to Hokkaido!

We had a fantastic trip visiting Shakotan Blue, the Otaru Canal, and Shiroi Koibito Park. Our tour guide, Hong, was exceptional—his communication regarding meeting points and tour expectations was always clear and well-organized. I was particularly impressed by his ability to fluently speak Korean, English, and Chinese, effortlessly catering to the diverse nationalities in our group. Highly recommended!
