Den spanske kunstnerens verk er fantastiske, med over 1000 stykker. Vi brukte nesten en hel dag på å beundre dem. Hvis du liker oljemalerier, vil du definitivt ønske å bli lenger. Vær imidlertid oppmerksom på at fotografering er forbudt inne i galleriet. Ta med eget drikkevann, da det ikke tilbys vann i galleriet. Det er en kafé hvor du kan spise, drikke eller ta en forfriskning mellom utstillingene. Sikkerhetspersonalet er vennlig og kan veilede deg gjennom de forskjellige utstillingshallene. Forresten, det er også et fotoområde i nærheten! Ikke glem å utforske museet grundig. Det er veldig praktisk å kjøpe billetter gjennom Coca-Cola-systemet; ingen kø, bare vis billetten din til personalet.

The museum itself is very new and clean, with spacious corridors that make for a comfortable visit. Some exhibition rooms have chairs, so you can sit and rest if you get tired. The tour guide was very professional, arriving early to wait for us, and was very friendly and humorous. Their explanations were lively, often involving animated gestures and a loud voice (they even got told off by the museum staff for being too loud 😂), like telling a story to children, which was very entertaining. They were also very familiar with the museum's layout, ensuring no repeated routes. The entire guided tour lasted over two hours, and I myself stayed for another two hours (and still didn't see everything). If you want to explore thoroughly, you should plan for 3 to 5 hours, or even longer. After entering and clearing security, remember to pick up a tour brochure first; it will help you locate important works when you explore on your own.

It was absolutely surreal to see the Mona Lisa in person at the Prado Museum! ✨ We also got to see the incredible Royal Spanish Armoury at the Royal Palace in Madrid, which was such a fascinating experience. Our day trip to Toledo and Segovia was organized by Amigo Tours, and a huge shoutout to our amazing tour guides, Alex and JJ! 👏 They made the entire trip so much fun and incredibly well organized. They shared so many interesting stories and historical facts, but what really made the experience special was their humor, they were constantly cracking jokes and keeping everyone entertained. 😂 It never felt like a boring history lesson; it felt like exploring these beautiful places with friends who happened to know everything about them! The whole day was packed, but it was absolutely worth it. Beautiful places, fascinating history, great organization, and fantastic guides. Definitely a memorable part of our Madrid trip!

It was a great experience overall. The booking online was easy. Later (closer to the date of the tour), I got an email and a text to confirm date, time and where to meet. I actually had to change the start time due to the timed ticket to the mueum and they were accomodating I wanted a Korean-speaking tour for my parents and it was better than I have imagined. Our tour guide Yoo Sun Lee was great. She was so knowledgeable and pacing of the tour was great. It wasn't too fast or slow and she gave us time to rest, ask questions. She also knew all the great spots for photo opportunities and helped take photos for my family. The description said tour was 2 hrs for this tour as well but it went well past that and I appreciated the tour guide for doing that. So it didn't feel like we were rushed at all I know that my family and I got so much more out of the visit because of her. I really want to thank her for that and would recommend her to my other family members and friends.

På Thyssen-Bornemisza-museet kan du bruke QR-koden direkte, mens på Reina Sofía-museet må du vise hele voucheren for å få inngangsbillett. På Prado-museet er det ofte lange køer, men du kan gå rett til billettluken og vise voucheren til en ansatt der, så får du billett med en gang.

Dette var en fantastisk måte å se byen på. Juan José var supervennlig, veldig informativ og gjorde turen flott. Det føltes ikke stressende, og jeg fikk sett mye av byen på så kort tid.
