The location is really convenient, just a 1-minute turn away from the old street. Both the rooms and public spaces have strong air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about the heat. Breakfast and dinner are served at the Hinoki Main Building. We were lucky enough to stay during the Mid-Autumn Festival long weekend, and dinner featured a live band performance. The gentle melodies paired with the lake and mountain scenery under the bright full moon outside the window were simply amazing.

Although it's an older hotel, the facilities and service are excellent, and there's free parking. Soaking in the hot spring in a lake-view room is truly a great pleasure. It's a shame we visited during the dry season; it was so dry that nine frogs even appeared. The hotel's breakfast is very diverse, with freshly cooked noodles and tea eggs, which is very satisfying and I really enjoyed it. Additionally, bicycles are available for free rental, which is a great deal.

On the morning of check-in, we called to provide our license plate number so they could reserve a parking space for us! As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the refreshing scent of cypress wood. The room was very spacious, and in the evening, we enjoyed a relaxing sauna. The next day, after checking out at 11 AM, we were able to leave our car parked until 1 PM. So, we used the complimentary bicycle vouchers from the hotel (one hour free for a standard bicycle) to rent bikes and cycle around the lake, which was very convenient!

The location is great! 👍 It's right on the first row of Shuishe Pier, and the lake view of Sun Moon Lake is beautiful. Just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the scenery puts you in a good mood. The view changes with the sunlight from morning to evening. Breakfast is simple but delicious 😋, and I was satisfied eating it two days in a row. The only downside is that the bidet toilet is too loud.

Even though it rained and everything was wet, and the room was smaller than expected, the bed was quite large. The annex was looked after by my mother-in-law, and there's delicious black tea available for purchase on the first floor. After breakfast at the main building, you can take a walk around Sun Moon Lake, which is pretty nice.
