Ottavia and our driver were fantastic! Ottavia was incredibly hands-on and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She took excellent care of us and shared interesting historical insights about the places we passed along the way. The complimentary coffee and water, biscuits, candy, postcards, and photo service were such lovely surprises and really added to the experience. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches!

Kylie was an amazing, informative and very entertaining guide. Lots of behind the scene info and tidbits on the sound of music production. Breathtaking views of Salzburg and surrounding towns dotted the route. The sing-along during the bus ride is also a highlight for all sound of music fans.

Jeg var veldig imponert over denne halvdagsturen. Den passer perfekt for folk som meg, som har lite tid. Reisen var komfortabel, og det tok bare 1,5 time å reise tur-retur Hallstatt og Salzburg. I tillegg var det mange vakre utsikter langs veien. Guiden var også veldig kunnskapsrik. Denne turen ga 2,5 timer til å gå rundt i landsbyen, noe jeg syntes var tilstrekkelig.

Jeg hadde en fantastisk opplevelse med Lily som reiseleder. Hun har en svært behagelig og beroligende stemme, noe som gjorde det til en ekte fornøyelse å lytte til forklaringene hennes under hele turen. Lily er også ekstremt høflig, vennlig og profesjonell i måten hun behandlet alle på. Det som imponerte meg mest, var hennes dype kunnskap om og lidenskap for stedene vi besøkte. Hun forklarte alt tydelig og fikk historien og kulturen til å virke levende på en måte som var lett å forstå. Hun var også svært oppmerksom og sørget alltid for at alle i gruppen følte seg vel til nte og inkludert. I tillegg administrerte Lily tidsplanen svært godt, holdt orden på alt og ga oss samtidig nok tid til å utforske og ta bilder. Hennes positive holdning og varme personlighet gjorde hele opplevelsen enda mer minneverdig. Jeg vil på det varmeste anbefale Lily til alle som leter etter en kunnskapsrik, snill og engasjerende reiseleder. Hun gjorde virkelig turen spesiell.

This tour is very convenient, and the itinerary is well-planned. Train tickets are already included, so after meeting at the designated spot, we just walk to the train station and board the train. The tour guide was excellent; they even lent us money for the restroom and explained the history and culture of each attraction. They also waited for everyone to gather at each location before starting the explanation, ensuring no one was left behind. They also recommended souvenirs and suggested a restaurant for lunch that would offer a more profound experience.

Our family of six formed a perfect group, and the itinerary was very flexible. Ibrahim, our driver and guide, was incredibly enthusiastic and professional. He took us to several classic photo spots and even suggested routes for us. In one day, we visited St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang, and Hallstatt – a perfect Lake District trip. Highly recommended!

Because of the limited time for this trip, and my strong desire to visit Hallstatt, taking public transportation would have been very time-consuming. Thankfully, this one-day tour was available. Although the time spent at each attraction wasn't long, we did get to visit all the must-see spots. I hope to return in the future for a more in-depth exploration of the town. Special thanks to Jessin for avoiding the highway, allowing us to see Austria's most beautiful natural scenery. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time who still wants to visit this beautiful fairytale town.

This day trip actually consists of two half-day tours: a morning trip to Hallstatt, followed by a return to Salzburg city center at midday, and then an afternoon tour of "The Sound of Music" filming locations. The guides for both tours were very professional, providing detailed and humorous explanations. The morning trip to Hallstatt is highly dependent on the weather; there's an observation deck on the mountain offering panoramic views of the entire lake district, but the cable car ticket is an additional cost. Alternatively, you can simply walk around the town and enjoy its atmosphere. In the afternoon, you'll visit several filming locations from "The Sound of Music." Most allow you to get off the bus to explore and take photos, while a few are viewed from the tour bus. "The Sound of Music" soundtrack is also played on the bus, which really helps you immerse yourself in the movie's scenes and atmosphere.

The tour guide, Melanie was excellent—friendly, professional, and spoke very clear English throughout the tour. She gave us thorough introductions to all the sights and even in Munich and recommended great local restaurants and food spots nearby. We tried one of the receommend restaurants in Salzburg. Nice!! We also added the boat cruise as an extra, and it was absolutely worth it. The lake was calm and peaceful, so my boy had no seasickness at all. During the cruise, they played lovely music, including the theme from The Sound of Music—such a nice touch! Besides the coach is new and clean. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
