Siem Reap

An amazing experience! We spent six days in Siem Reap, and this tour was one of the most unforgettable, perfectly combining nature and culture. It was pouring rain when we were picked up in the afternoon, but by the time we reached the lake, it had cleared up and we even saw a rainbow. We first took a large boat into the village; during the rainy season, the houses look like they are truly floating on the water. The residents, especially the children, enthusiastically wave at you. Although living conditions are tough, you can feel that they are enjoying the present moment. Once inside the village, you can switch to a small rowboat paddled by local women to enter the flooded forest. If you put on headphones and play some music, the sound of nearby boat motors fades away, bringing a unique and moving sense of peace. Finally, there was the sunset. While today's sunset might not have been top-tier, seeing locals swimming in the lake and children playing on the boats—so fully enjoying the moment—made it truly special. Our tour guide, Jack, was fantastic—very humorous and attentive to everyone. I also really appreciated his philosophy of not overly disrupting the locals' lives. And our driver, James, would always be waiting at the car door with ice-cold water and wet wipes whenever we returned. If you come to Siem Reap, you absolutely must not miss this tour.

Helt fantastisk opplevelse! Jeg anbefaler Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour på det varmeste, spesielt sammen med Mony og Sopal. Vår turguide, Mony, var fantastisk – svært kunnskapsrik om Angkor Wat, templene og kambodsjansk historie. Han forklarte alt så tydelig og gjorde turen interessant og meningsfull. Han var også utrolig imøtekommende, tålmodig og oppmerksom gjennom hele opplevelsen. Vår sjåfør, Sopal, var like fantastisk. Han var veldig respektfull, profesjonell og hjelpsom, og sørget alltid for at vi hadde det komfortabelt og hadde alt vi trengte. Som alenereisende satte jeg virkelig pris på hvor godt de tok vare på meg gjennom hele dagen. Soloppgangen var betagende, men å ha en så fantastisk guide og sjåfør gjorde opplevelsen enda mer spesiell. Takk til Mony og Sopal for en uforglemmelig opplevelse! Jeg vil absolutt anbefale denne turen til alle som besøker Siem Reap! 🇰🇭

Det var overskyet til å begynne med, og det var usikkert om vi ville få se soloppgangen, men akkurat i det sola sto opp, spredte skyene seg, og vi fikk se soloppgangen over Angkor Wat. Helt tilfeldig var det også slik at sola denne dagen sto opp midt mellom de tre tårnene, noe som var en ekstra stor tur i uflaks – eller rettere sagt, en kjempeflaks. Guiden vår, Tola, var en morsom person som viste oss rundt og forklarte alt i detalj. I tillegg til Angkor Wat besøkte vi Ta Prohm, innspillingsstedet for Tomb Raider, og det hele ble en veldig innholdsrik halvdagstur.

Informativ, vennlig, underholdende og god verdi for pengene. Virkelig god informasjon begynner å bli servert så snart du kommer på bussen på vei til det første templet (Angkor Wat). Uten en guidet tur ville jeg nok gått glipp av det meste av det denne opplevelsen har å by på. En stor takk til Mr. Chong!

Thank you so much to our tour guide, Ben! The overall experience of this one-day small-circuit tour of Angkor Wat was fantastic. I am especially grateful to Ben for his explanations and care throughout the entire trip. Ben is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Angkor Wat and all the various temples. His explanations were detailed, and instead of simply reciting facts, he introduced the sites by combining architecture, history, and local culture, giving me a much deeper understanding of Angkor Wat. During the itinerary, he also flexibly adjusted the arrangements based on the weather and actual conditions. The entire pace was very relaxed, and it never felt rushed. Ben was also very enthusiastic about taking pictures, proactively offering to help us take photos. Thank you so much for Ben's company and professional guidance today! If any of my friends visit Siem Reap in the future, I will definitely recommend Ben as their tour guide. 👍🇰🇭

Highly recommend this tour! This was one of the most amazing experiences I've had since coming to Siem Reap. I especially want to praise our tour guide, Kim, and our driver—both of them were truly wonderful. They took such good care of us along the way. The guide was very responsible and especially humorous, which made the whole trip's atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. The driver was also very steady, the AC in the car was always strong, and we had cold water available almost the entire time. Little details like these really make you feel well taken care of. The itinerary itself was also very reasonably planned. It didn't feel like we were constantly rushing, and we had enough time at each spot to look around and take it all in. The scenery at Phnom Kulen was truly beautiful. The natural landscape along the way offered a completely different vibe from Tonle Sap Lake, and it is definitely worth a visit. There's one more thing I just have to give a special shout-out to—the roast chicken at lunch was insanely good! 😂 I didn't have high expectations for group tour food, but it turned out to be delicious and completely exceeded my expectations. What I liked best was that it didn't feel like they were just rushing you through a rigid routine. If we had any requests, Kim did his best to help us out, and he was patient the entire time. As a tourist, that feeling is exceptionally comforting. All in all, we had a wonderful and happy day. We were satisfied with the scenery, the itinerary, the service, the guide, and the driver. If you are coming to Siem Reap, I strongly recommend choosing this tour! Special thanks to Kim and the driver for leaving us with such wonderful memories. Five-star recommendation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is a wodnerful experience being on a tour with Tom our guide. He speaks with clarity and with good volume so everybody in the tour are able to hear what he says. He is very informative and ensures everybody are well taken care of. It is very humbling to see how the villagers live here with very little but very happy nonetheless. Thank you Tom and the tour for sich a wonderful experience.

An amazing day. Picked up at the hotel and taken to the depot where all the tours start from. There were just 3 people on my tour and we got to visit 4 temples and the sunset spot with our guide (it was very cloudy so there wasn’t much of a sunset), but still, a great time

Had such a great experience visiting Banteay Srei with our tour guide, Lok. He was very knowledgeable about Khmer history and the temples, and you could really tell he was passionate about sharing the stories and culture with us. He was also very respectful, friendly, and easy to talk to. What I really appreciated was how he took his time to take photos of us and even showed us the best spots and angles for pictures. He never made us feel rushed. Our driver was also very nice, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Overall, a wonderful experience and I learned so much about Cambodia’s history and culture. Highly recommend Lok and the team!
