This is one of the coolest things you can do in Seoul. My husband & I booked this class for the first morning session & I highly recommend you do the same. There were 3 of us in the class and the instructor - Jay (apologies if I misspelled the name) came to each of us individually to help which made the experience extra special as we each received personalised tutoring. When you first enter the studio, which is located on the second floor, you’re shown a variety of stones you can choose from. Your booking comes with a plain stone & you can choose to upgrade to one that has a design on it - prices vary. Once you select your stone you sit at a table and await instruction. the instructor wrote our names in Korean & had us practice before we traced our name on the stone & began carving. no worries if you make a mistake, the instructor tidies your stamp before you leave. this is much cooler than going into a shop and having it done for you!

La profesora es muy amable y simpática, la clase fue rápida pero hermosa, mi sello es precioso y llevaba meses soñando con tener uno y lo primero q hice al llegar a corea fue reservar el taller y fue maravilloso, sumamente recomendable.

my Daughter & I had a very enjoyable time making our seals. once we found the studio, everything was straight forward. the teacher was knowledgable, helpful & skilled in the craf the room was lovely, bright & airy. would go again!

We had such a great time! The whole process was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating and guided us every step of the way, which made the experience even more special. We really loved how hands on and unique it was definitely something memorable. I’m already looking forward to doing this again next time! Highly recommend 💯

Jeg likte virkelig opplevelsen min på Yhlayuen 😊 instruktøren var veldig tålmodig og oppmuntrende hele veien, og det var et veldig morsomt og enkelt håndverk å lage og personliggjøre ❤️❤️❤️

c’est une activité à faire, on en apprend plus sur la culture coréenne et en plus l’équipe est très gentille, elles parlent très bien anglais et sont très accueillantes, l’activité est simple accessible de tous, je recommande vivement en plus cela fait un super souvenir à ramener ! 🥰

We went on a Monday morning and we could do the workshop just with the two of us. We could pick out a lovely design on the side of the stamp and carve our names on the bottom. She helped us with the translation of our names to Korean and with the design. We really like the stamp!! We also bought the red stamping ink :)

One of the highlights in my Seoul trip. It was fun and the lady who taught me was lovely, we had a good laugh through the time. I really recommend this experience to those who enjoy diy and bringing home handmade souvenir from a trip.

I had a very nice time creating my stamp! The instructor clearly explained the process, let me work on my own and then helped me perfect the stamp. She was very nice :). I selected the option to have a carving on the side of the stone and there were different beautiful models to choose from.

Such a gem! I loved this experience right from the start. I’m not someone who leaves reviews, but this was so fun and such a wonderful item to bring home with you as a memory of your trip. The location is great, with tons of food and shops surrounding it. I suggest getting to the location like 45 minutes early and browse up and down the street before going in to the engraving class. Very easy to find, just make sure you look at the provided photo and Naver. The hosts/staff were incredibly friendly!! The process was pretty quick. They offer a DIY kit you can buy and take home with you, too. 10/10 if I’m ever back in Seoul, I’ll definitely do this again!
