The tour began with a scenic drive into Skippers Canyon, where our witty guide kept us entertained with fascinating stories of the area’s history and pointed out unique rock formations along the way. Because the water level was high that day, we had the thrill of tackling Grade V rapids! Safety was clearly a top priority—support kayaks accompanied us, and my raft was staffed with three instructors. When we reached the most intense sections of the canyon, the instructors sprang into action, positioning themselves on nearby rocks with full safety gear at the ready. I was genuinely impressed by the professionalism and precautions taken. Interestingly, two fellow participants mentioned they had joined the same tour the week before, and the lower water level gave them a completely different experience. Hearing that made me wish I had more time to enjoy a few extra runs myself—it’s the kind of adventure you’d want to relive again and again.
Exhilarating Experience on the Shotover River! Rafting on the Shotover River was absolutely exhilarating! The scenery through the canyon is stunning, and the rapids are thrilling from start to finish. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline and natural beauty. The guides were outstanding – knowledgeable, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident. The highlight was definitely the ride through the narrow, rocky passages – heart-pounding and unforgettable. A must-do adventure in Queenstown!
Thrilling ride but cold! The guide was clear in his instructions and he was safety conscious. He had to work hard as we needed to improve our paddling. Got the hang of it eventually. Recommend it for those who want to experience adrenaline!
The guides did a great job and the experience was fun. Do note that this is a grade 5 river though, participants will require sufficient water confidence.
Very very fun experience and the guides were all experts in the activity. The scenery from below was incredible and rapids were so fun to go through. The drive up the skippers canyon road was scary but such an experience. it offer dramatic view and drops vertically on the side of the cliff. photos included in the package
safety briefing was clear. instructors were caring and helpful. equipments are readult available for ur size. pictures are good . best experience ever.

The crews are very professional and that is important as it is a high risk activity. The water is cold even in summer! What an experience!
好玩到不可思議 雖然水冷到發瘋但是很值得。今天剛好水位很高增加了很多刺激感。可惜照片只有幾張沒有影片但是真的非常好玩
