Matlagingskurs i Malaysia

We had a fun time preparing, cooking and assembling Laksa and Ketayap, with Fizah providing guidance, demos and tips. There were multiple activities for all four of us and the recipes turned out great - delicious! We’d highly recommend this experience.

I recently joined this cooking class and had such a wonderful experience! The teacher is fantastic—very patient, clear with instructions, and guides you step by step so you never feel lost. The cooking environment is cozy and welcoming, almost like cooking in your own home, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. All the ingredients were thoughtfully prepared and ready to use, which allowed us to focus on learning and having fun. The dishes we made turned out absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The location is also very convenient, near the centre of KL, making it easy to get to. Overall, it was a delightful class that combined learning, great food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Had a blast learning from Fizah. She was so welcoming and enjoyable to chat with. Learned valuable cooking tips and definitely enjoyed sampling all the food that I got to cook, hands on at her lovely home.

I had a great time at the Malaysian cooking class! The instructor was very kind and explained each step clearly. The dishes turned out delicious, and I was happy to bring home the dessert I couldn’t finish. A fun, relaxing, and tasty experience—highly recommended!

We had an awesome time cooking with Fizah. We cooked the nasi lemak and the kuih gula melaka and both were super tasteful! Fizah also answered all of our questions about Malaysia, the food culture and gave awesome travel Tipps to to around Malaysia and in KL.

Highly recommend! If we ever come back to Malaysia, I would take another class. Fizah was so sweet, knowledgeable, and is an amazing cook! Her Nasi Lemak is her mothers recipe and it was phenomenal. She shared a few stories of her mother and I thought it was such a beautiful way to celebrate her mother. My husband and I had a blast and this was our favorite part of our KL trip. We immediately went to a store after the class to buy ingredients so we could make the recipes at home. Thank you again so much for the wonderful experience!!

Fiza was such an amazing teacher. We cooked our preferred dishes from scratch with her guidance and the place feels like home. Totally recommended! 👍👍👍

We loved our experience! It felt very authentic, intimate and we loved that we were learning a family recipe. It was the best Nasi Lemak we’ve had in Malaysia so far.
