This was a really great experience to have in Seoul. At the start of the experience I learned a little bit more about the mother of pearl history, and then the teacher let me design my pieces on paper first before she helped me transfer it to the final piece. It wasn't as much a class as it was an experience. There were a lot of different options to choose from, and I had extra time to pay to make another piece at the end. The instructor was very kind and helpful.

It was a fun way of spending some time in Seoul. The class took about an hour, first we created our designs on paper and then transferred them to the object of our choice. Personally, I love how mather of pearl designs look, and I was happy to create an unique souverain from my trip.

The instructor was very calm and explained the steps well. This activity is not complicated but it requires that you manipulate tiny pieces of mother-of-pearl, which takes a lot of focus and ends up being relaxing. It also gave us a great appreciation for this form of art. The pins we made are a meaningful souvenir of our visit to South Korea. (Note that there is no waiting area in the studio so any friends or family who are not taking the class will not be able to stay or watch.)

instructor was kind and class was intimate. Our group made a key ring and ring box. the mother of pearl fragments are beautiful creating an even more beautiful piece when placed together. A truly memorable experience with a tangible keepsake to bring home.

yesterday my Daughter and I spent a wonderful morning making traditional inlay compact mirrors. Our Teacher was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and clear in her instructions. the studio was a comfy peaceful space - I didn’t want to leave! if I get the opportunity I will go again for sure, I can’t recommend highly enough. the studio is a little tricky to find but we WhatsApp the teacher and then found it easily. this craft is ideal for anyone, you don’t need to be an artist as the designs can be as simple or complex as you want - go and enjoy!

Had a very pleasant experience. The location was easy to find. The different types of lacquer techniques were well explained. The instructor was patient and made the whole process run smoothly.

This is such a fun experience! My mom, my sister and I came and decorated the key chains and they turned out SO CUTE!! Would def recommend :) took about an hour and a half total. It's relaxing too.

Der Workshop hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht und zu gleich beruhigend gewirkt. Man kann sein eigenes Design aus so vielen Schablonen erstellen. Der Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt! Ich würde diesen Kurs jedem empfehlen!
