Ahern Hotel Las Vegas

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is set up for conventions so it looked rather odd walking in. The rooms were really nice, comfortable bed, terrible pillows, awesome views. The rose colored windows were weird and it made it feel a bit uncomfortable at times. The All American restaurant was very good. Better than other restaurants we had later in the week. My only complaint would be its location. Really far off the strip and from the airport.

I’ve stayed at the Ahern a few times now. It’s my go to for a low key visit to Las Vegas. There’s free parking, breakfast voucher for two, great location, the staff is always friendly, and a reasonable price.

For seasoned Las Vegas travelers, this is a dream. We love going to shows on the strip, but have been many times and don't get all caught up in the hype. Nothing wrong for the thousands of first timers getting excited, and always funny to see people walking in 110 degree heat thinking the casinos all look close. It's an allusion. They aren't. That said, we love the Ahern and it will become our place to go in the future. Easy to get to the Sahara and park a car for free and hop on the Monorail. So, location is perfect and easy to get anywhere on the strip. We stayed in a corner suite which was incredible. The views were breathtaking. The room was perfect with everything clean and plenty of room amenities. The food was top notch, along with the coffee shop. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Twist and Shout" Beatles show at The Ahern. The workers at the Ahern which include the front desk, and food venues were very attentive and had wonderful service. We loved that the whole place was smoke free. It is absolutely a Las Vegas hidden treasure that really isn't that hidden.

The last 4x I've been to Vegas, I've stayed here, no issues or complaints. This time around it was just not it for me. When I entered my room, T.V was on full blast, every single drawer in the room and bathroom, which was a little off to me but I digress. T.V in the next room was pretty loud, no one was staying in that room, asked the front desk if they could have housekeeping or security turn it off, that was never done. So for the 3 nights I was there, I had to deal with that. Also, restaurant manager at the All American Sports was very unprofessional. We had a small issue with our order, when our waiter told her the issue, instead of approaching our table to resolve the issue, she stood from a distance giving my daughter and I, dirty looks, When my daughter asked to speak to her, she went to hide in the back. I digress. This whole stay was not the best.

Our stay was excellent! We've stayed at several hotels on the Strip, but this time we decided to stay just off the Strip for easier access, and it was the perfect choice. The Ahern exceeded all of our expectations and had everything we needed. The quiet atmosphere was a welcome change, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Having a coffee shop on-site was a great convenience, and the restaurant was delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the recent updates to the property were beautifully done. We would definitely stay here again!
