This is an older facility so dont expect the hilton, but it is very clean, located in a great spot and close to everything, and the staff is incredibly nice and extremely helpful. And the breakfast at the deli next door was fantastic. I'll stay again for sure.

The room was very clean and the location was excellent! Walkable to almost everything! We did not try the complimentary breakfast because we didn’t really know how to do it, so make sure you ask the front desk.

Ohio House is an excellent value in downtown Chicago. Vintage feel on the exterior, with completely updated rooms. Our room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were completely modernized with a rainfall shower head and a lighted mirror that we will be finding for our own home. All rooms are interior hallway access with key card locking exterior doors. Office is staffed 24 hours with access to extra towels and an ice machine. You may request thermostat adjustment for your room by either calling or walking to the front desk. Great location made many popular destinations very walkable and some fantastic dining options nearby. We highly recommend heading to the nearby Peruvian restaurant for happy hour. There is a great deli on the corner and I highly recommend buying coffee there and not messing with the in room single serve. Their bagels and pastrami are great too. We will be back again.

I did not like that there was no air conditioning control in the rooms

Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Parking was very convenient. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I liked how although it was a motel, the rooms were in sections and you needed to have a key to access your room so not just anyone could get to the room. That and the gate around the motel made me feel safe.

We enjoyed our stay in Chicago great downtown area. The staff was awesome. Everything went smoothly. Walking distance for everything we wanted to do. Blue Chicago music venue was less than two blocks away and we enjoyed a great blues band.

Convenient location, helpful staff, and well maintained property

Most of my life I've driven past the Ohio House Motel on my way into Chicago. After all these years I finally got to stay there and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Unfortunately the balcony rooms were not available but I found our room clean, modern, comfortable, pleasant smelling and exactly what we were hoping for. At the Ohio House, you are in the middle of everything! Everything seemed like a short walk or a 10 minute cab ride anywhere. The 24 hour McDonalds right across the street was a life saver at 4:30am, seeing that we went to Chicago for the WNBA All Star Game and festivities afterward. We cabbed it to the United Center and we were there in 15 minutes. We cabbed it to some bars, 10 minute Uber ride. It was perfect. Check in and Check out were also a breeze. We did pay for parking which is nice because you can come and go as you please, but we were drinking so our car stayed in the lot and nothing happened to it. In the morning a little Cafe/Deli opens and the bagels and Matzo ball soup were amazing! The one thing people mention is not having a thermostat in your room. Ok, kinda a bummer but the room was at the perfect temp while it was 95 degrees outside. So, yea it could be a negative but in reality does it really matter? I think if you've grown up around the city of Chicago, you deserve it to yourself to stay at the Ohio House at least once.

Motel was great. Nice & clean, Great location. Would absolutely stay again!

Me volvería a quedar, es céntrico, limpio y me gustó la presión de agua de la regadera y que además cuente con estacionamiento.
