I originally had another hotel in mind, but the price kept climbing. I checked repeatedly, hoping it would come back down, but eventually I booked Hotel Motto with some hesitation. I had been imagining a more traditional luxury experience—something with a spa where I could really feel pampered.
What a wonderful surprise! The room was absolutely adorable, and the décor was incredibly chic. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the personal touches made the experience feel special. Honestly, it felt like I had stepped into a movie and was the main character.
I hadn't traveled to Europe in decades, so I put a lot of pressure on this trip and wanted everything to be perfect (even though I know that's impossible). Hotel Motto exceeded my expectations. Location was convenient, lively and fun. I loved my stay, have absolutely no regrets, and would happily return. I'll definitely be back! Je ne regrette rien .

My experience at Motto was excellent from beginning to end. The WhatsApp communication prior to arrival was fantastic and made everything feel seamless and welcoming before check-in.
The reception staff were superb — professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. The room was very comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The rooftop is an absolute must, with a great atmosphere, very good food, and amazing staff throughout.
I also really appreciated the variety of options and services available during the stay. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Motto Vienna and felt very welcomed from check in. The hotel lived up to its boutique description and we found the location incredible with a shopping mall and Neubaugasse subway just outside the front door. Bus transport was also easily walkable.
Definitely recommend this hotel as an alternative to central Vienna with it’s excellent transport links.

I think it is overpriced for the tiny bedroom lacking even one chair. The restaurant is very expensive- 360 euros for a meal for 4 people.
