Great hotel but if you plan on working while you’re there, don’t. The internet was absolutely terrible. Fine for an email or two but for any video or even non-video conferencing be prepared to cut out every minute or two. Incredibly frustrating. Otherwise a beautiful hotel with stunning city and Thames views with really great staff.

I am a regular now, staff friendly and welcoming . Hotel is ideal location quiet properly built decent size rooms. Parking easy too. Good for Canary Wharf, O2 DLR riverboat and tube.

Upgraded room with a river view. Room was extremely spacious with a big bed and large bathroom with a bath and a seperate walk-in shower. Large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Room was clean, if a little dated in decor. Spa was nice for an hour or 2. Couple of issues we had while visiting... 1) No cold water...tried the bath for 20 mins but you had the choice of red hot or red hot. Same with the shower and again with the sink. Shower was also leaking at the back of the unit. In fairness, the temperature issue was reported and fixed later in the evening while we were out. 2) Rooms cleaned daily (first knock on the door was EARLY) but bins not emptied, coffee not replenished, toilet rolls not replenished. 3) As for coffee...2 esspresso cups available. Used the machine and had to stop it so it wouldn't go over the sides of the cup. No tea. Plenty of space available in cupboards/drawers to put a couple of bigger cups and some tea bags. The first morning, I went and got some Latte's from the foyer where breakfast was held and it cost me £6.50 each (plus 12.5% service charge) and they weren't that hot! 4) £150 per night holding fee! Be aware of this before you check in! 5) Saturday night, returned to the hotel to find out they had ran out of the 1 product they did on draught (Camden Lager). Take That, Garth Brookes, Bad Bunny, Harry Styles in town, hottest weekend on record and the World Cup (with England playing) and we run out of lager..... Overall.....an OK stay....

It was very nice and very accommodating

We stayed in a deluxe king during a heatwave. The room is very big and the bathroom too. The room had a sort of smell but you cannot open the window to ventilate. The AC didn't work much but eventually after we asked the stuff was able to give us a room with functioning AC. The swimming pool is very good. The gym a little crammed and old but ok. Breakfast is limited in options, there are no self serve coffee machine and it might take time to be served a coffee (which is not of great quality). The staff is extremely helpful. Location is great if that is what you look for. Close to the river, to a mall and to a very good Chinese restaurant.

Staff were very helpful especially on the front desk. Room was clean. The health club is separate to the hotel but access is granted by swapping your room key for a gym fob. Riverside views from the room. The chrome cast in our room didn’t work, the staff offered to switch our rooms, but we’d just asked for the twin beds to be made into 2 singles, so remained for the convenience. We noticed a foul smell from the wardrobe which soaked into my friend’s clothes that she hung in there. We’re not sure what the source was, but it was awful. We didn’t try the restaurant, but were interested in the afternoon tea on offer. The waiter on shift advised we could come down at any point to enjoy it, however when we did, another member of staff advised we’d been misinformed, so not particularly happy with that.

We are locals that enjoyed a brief stay to escape the latest heatwave. Air con not the most powerful, but definitely working and kept us much more comfortable than our home (the room stayed at roughly 24-25 in the day and dropped to 23 overnight). Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff attentive and helpful.
