The Bene is my go to place when i come to Kuta...always bagus

The breakfast was very disappointing. Choice of foods, beverages and juices was limited. No rotation either for each day. One of the highlights of a holiday for us has always been the buffet breakfast but not here, so we ate out each day. The staff on site are friendly however they are noticeably under-staffed as responses to requests like maintenance (ie telephone not working, balcony door not locking) and honoring complimentary vouchers upon arrival were not a priority and only happened after repeated reminders and requests from us. The hotel is 'tired looking'. The pool deck needs repairing, rooms re-painting and freshening up etc .. We sensed they are struggling financially to keep afloat which is a shame as the location is great but the experiences mentioned dampened our overall experience.

Breakfast was a disappointment, the menu was suited to the Muslim community, so no sausages or bacon. Omelettes were good. Staff are always happy helpful and polite.

They treat white people better than asian/locals,white peoples get to sit,get the hot towels and a cup of drink,while us only got to sit while checking in. I don’t understand the mindset that they got,and also we waited until 3.38pm to get our sons room to be ready,they not even tried to call or anything until my husband reached them. Also we found roach on our kids room,very disgusting. The only kind person that work there is the bli that helped us taking care of our stuff,he is the best and kind,but other than that mehhhh.

Our suite was perfect, clean, comfy, and very spacious, The pool was lovely, as were the staff. Breakfast was tasty with just the right amount of choice. Added bonus of having purified water available on each level to fill up you bottles!!

I had no expectations for my stay as I chose it solely based on the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel.

A little disappointed this visit. I have stayed here about 5 times with my family over the years and this stay just didn’t meet our usual standards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was the property itself that let us down. This visit was for 17 days. The first 3 days the room wasn’t getting cleaned until we rung reception and asked for the bathroom to be restocked with towels and toilet amenities. One of the bathrooms had a really bad smell. The shower wasn’t draining. Had to ask a few times for someone to come and see if it could be fixed. The back of one of the bathroom doors had a dark brown staining. Like wipe marks that got darker every day. We asked someone to clean it but it was never done. We also asked for Airport transfer back to the airport but was told we needed 2 seperate cars and to pay double the cost. As our family of 5 couldn’t fit in one car. We ended up organising a van transfer ourselves. The manger did come and speak to us the next morning to try and help but we had already arranged something by then. Over all I just felt a little disappointed as we have stayed here so many times but we treated as just another number.

Aircons kept tripping out for a lot of the stay. Bathroom drain was blocked causing a bad smell. Hard for taxis to get to for pick ups and drop offs. Room service took 2 hours one night with no warning or explanation. Staff were very friendly though. Would not stay here again.
