I really enjoyed my stay at Meander. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They even had an event to see the fireflies. Although the rain made it impossible to see them, PJ (the tour guide) still made sure we had a good time and took us to see a water show by the bridge. Speaking with other people gave me the same impression I had of the hotel/hostel. It is convenient, comfortable, clean, and one of the best stays I have had. I stayed in a single room with a private bathroom and it was very clean with the best pillows (most hotels have terrible pillows). It is close to the main MRT station and next door to a 7-11. I can't recommend it enough.

What a perfect hotel. The room was pretty large for being right in the city and it had everything we needed. The shared hangout space and kitchen was fantastic too.

Our experience was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff is so friendly while handling our requests. We enjoyed the free coffee and relaxing in the balcony and common area. I especially appreciate the convenient location. I needed to buy an extra carryon bag to bring home all my souvenirs, and was happy to find the many home goods stores right around the corner.

I stayed here for 8 days and it was such a pleasant experience. Meander 1948 was kind enough to offer a free guided tour with one of their amazing employees PJ (keep in mind to pay for your own transportation fares and meals expenses which is roughly under $500 TWD equivalent to just about $16 USD) along with the hotel company treating to a delicious fun dessert snack at the end of the tour. It all depends how much you want to drop as well, this is just a guesstimate combining expenditures for the day. The 8 bed dorm room was super comfortable. The lounging area is very peaceful and tranquil. You meet such cool amazing people in there that are traveling or studying abroad. It’s central to lots of fun and local spots. One of the night markets (Ningxia) is about a 10 min walk. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is only a block or two away from the hostel. It’s just such a great location and super affordable. Highly recommended as a solo traveler. The Meander staff is super helpful and will provide any information to help in any way possible. Thanks Meander 1948. Very clean, comfortable bedding, friendly staff, and free breakfast vouchers. Located close to the main station. Would definitely stay here again.

Room, washrooms, kitchen, common areas were all clean and well maintained. Kitchen utensils were like new Staff were eager to help, explained things in great details.
