I had a wonderful stay at Solaria Hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making my experience even more enjoyable. My favorite part was the breakfast served on the top floor, which offered beautiful views of the city. There was an excellent selection of both hot and cold dishes, delicious à la carte options included in the breakfast, and a great variety of fresh pastries and baked goods. The hotel's location is outstanding—right in the heart of Hanoi. It's just one block from Hoàn Kiếm Lake, a short walk to the French Quarter, and surrounded by countless restaurants, shops, and spas, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I also highly recommend the restaurant located beneath the hotel. The food was excellent and definitely worth trying. Overall, Solaria Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay there again.

Excellent staff

I was really excited to stay at this property from the pictures and the “roof top” when I first arrived I noticed the property was not matching the description online. The roof top was very small and the kitchen didn’t have a lot of things available. When going into my room I noticed multiple things wrong. The beds were pushed together to make a king bed. Then I noticed there were bugs all over the bed. The sheets were dirty and the room smelled like cigarettes. They did apologize and moved me to a new room. The second room also smelled like cigarettes. I realized it was coming from the vents. I coughed all night long from the smoke smell. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything your neighbor is saying. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The entire staff were absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, honest, and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Our room was fantastic; clean, quiet, and spacious. The breakfast buffet every morning was fantastic, including options for a la carte meals. The selection varied a little from day-to-day but everything was tasty. The team was always super welcoming and positive. They will even offer to pack food to go for you if you have an excursion planned or an early flight at the airport. Laundry and spa services are also available. A bit more expensive than spots on the streets, but still a great bargain compared to home. We would definitely recommend staying here and when we return to Hanoi I would book here again. Grace was super sweet and always smiling and helpful. She knew our names by heart even though our stay was only 3 nights.

I feel so lucky to have found such a great hotel with such an amazing staff. The employee named Grace was incredibly helpful and kind. But all the staff was welcoming and helpful. Hotel location was perfect for site seeing and restaurants. The breakfast was the best I have had in my 2 months of travel in Vietnam. We stayed in a family room which was clean, and well appointed No private bedroom though. Will stay here again when I return to Hanoi.

Best hotel I stayed in on my trip. Staff are absolutely excellent and will do anything for you. Food and drinks were amazing. Room was nice and cold in the summer. Very good vegan options. Clean hotel, great location.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. You will not regret booking here. From the excellent location to the amazing staff, I felt like a royalty.
